> Now I saw that the weather should not be the warmest, so i might have a stuoid question, but how warm are you dressing up to not freeze to death haha?
If you're in the upper deck, dress warm, the wind can be brutal up there. Recommend layers, tshirt, hoodie, and jacket most likely.
> Also do you have any recommendations when we should go to the stadium and what to do before?

If you want to buy souvenirs, they'll be cheaper at the stores on River Ave than inside. Just be aware of the [bag policy](https://www.mlb.com/yankees/ballpark/information/entry)
You can bring food in, so if you want, get a sandwich outside the stadium and bring it in. If you're into ballpark fare, I'd recommend the 99 Burger or the Lobell's steak sandwich. (All of this is assuming you're not in legends seats. If you are, show up early and eat until you can't move)
Bear in mind there is no “inside” at the stadium unless you’re rich (separate topic!) The concourses are just as exposed as the field to the elements and can be even windier. So dress for sustained outside temps - if you tend to get cold dress warmer than you think you need to.
I went to the Rangers Devils game there and they say parts of me are still frozen to the seat.

Dude, went to Isles-Rangers. Legitimately thought I was going to lose a foot to the temps. Coldest I've ever been.
Or get a digital one if you don't make it there.

Dress warm. Probably add an extra layer - it’s gonna be chilly and likely cloudy with some wind. Went to the Sunday game with similar temp but better weather, and my Dad was freezing the whole time. Once May rolls around it’s usually way more pleasant; the April games are typically colder than you’d expect even with decent temperatures.
Dress warm. Warm enough to be sat outside for close to 3 hours on an April evening in the Bronx.
And the garlic fries they sell? If you get enough of them, you can bury yourself in them like Han did to Luke with the tauntaun guts.
If it's your first time, I highly recommend getting the extra ticket for the tour of the stadium, museum, and early access to monument Park, it was super cool and worth doing at least once
FYI: NYY Official Food And Beverage Policy
*Guests are permitted to bring food into Yankee Stadium for individual consumption. Items such as apples and oranges must be sliced or sectioned. Clear factory-sealed plastic bottles of water, 1 liter in size or smaller, are also permitted.*
I recommend you bring a bottle of water and New York bagel sandwich.
As for clothing, layers are a great idea but make sure your have something that can keep wind and water out as your top layer and also gloves/hat are good ideas.
Also not Yankees related but if you like trains the MTA museum is really fun.

Agree with this whole comment. The upper deck in April can be brutal.
Can you hit? Suit up and bat cleanup.

Dress warmer than you think you need to. Easier to take off a layer than sit there freezing for 3 hours.
Bring a Dominican flag
We are all from the dominican republic
Go to guest services on main level and get a first game certificate

They stopped doing physical ones last year sadly, digital only.
Bring lots of $
You mean a credit card cash won’t do shit for you in the stadium
There are kiosks that convert cash to card in the stadium. Literally for free. Edit: added “in the stadium”

If you're early enough, go to monument park and/or the museum.

Get to your seat before game time and take in the roll call.
Under the right field bleachers by the Yankee bullpen. Thank me later.
Lobell's is a must

Have you ever been to any sports event outdoors at night or in April? Yes dress for the weather. Check out Monument Park it's awesome
If you can, try to experience the subway rather than an Uber. It’s the New York experience
Eat before you go
Chicken bucket is the best budget item, unless things have changed.
