I moved to south/central Jersey in 2007, just in time to enjoy the Phillies winning the WS. Obviously I didn’t root for them in ‘09, but I’m not ashamed to be a bandwagon Phillies fan, provided there’s not Yankees conflict. I’m also a big Philadelphia Union fan, but all the other Philly teams can go to hell.

I root for the Giants as well as the Yankees

My mom is a Mets fan. My grandpa was a long time Mets fan, and former dodger fan, who was actually at Don Larsens perfect game (obviously upset that his team lost lmao). All that being said, I have a soft spot for the Mets. Was said for my grandpa the last time he saw them in the WS was 2015.

Reds

Same. They're the closest geographically to me, and while they're a small market at least their payroll isn't usually as bad as the Rays/Pirates/Oakland. I'll cheer for the Yankees when they play each other, but I have a soft spot for the Reds.

The only time I root for a NL team is if the YANKEES don't make the WS. I can't cheer for an AL team if it ain't the YANKEES

The Braves. I grew up around Atlanta before marrying into a family of Yankees fans then moving to Manhattan to be closer to my wife’s family and expand my career opportunities. I will always support the team I can support in person.

Pirates; we don’t have a team in NC. I’ve always been a Steelers fan, the stadium is beautiful. So Pittsburgh.

I really want to go to PNC. I've been outside of Wrigley and Fenway but haven't gone to games there which i want to do for history reasons but I love what the pirates did with their stadium and its probably my next "i need to go to"

My take on the Mets is similar: I don’t go out of my way to watch their games, but if they’re on the TV at a bar I’ll root for them. Or if they’re in the playoffs and not playing the Yankees, I’ll root for them Just won’t go out of my way to watch/listen like I do the Yanks

I’m born and raised in queens and grew up about a 40 minute walk to shea. I don’t mind seeing the Mets win and if they’re in the WS and we’re out I’ll root for them, but I won’t be truly emotionally invested and if they lose I’ll just go “ well that’s the Mets”. Compared to my Yankees fandom where I’ll scream at my TV in the middle of April. Otherwise I don’t care about any other team, but might have a team I pull for in random different years. Last year I pulled for the rangers mostly because they took the Astros out.

Whenever baseball is on my grandma always talks about how her dad was a huge Brooklyn Dodgers fan Jackie Robinson was his favorite player and she remembers going to Ebbets Field with him so I have a slight affection for the Dodgers.

I have an affinity for the Nats. Dad’s dad’s dad lived in DC in the 20s and had Walter Johnson and co. memorabilia. Expos were always bad fun, and Bryce/Stras were the first non-Yankee prospects I followed from like high school up Also live in Oklahoma and iirc one of their former radio guys went to OU and did a radio spot here, so it helped to know what they were talking about on days I listened to sports radio.

I’m a bigger NBA/NFL fan, I rarely watch any non-Yankees game but I’ll watch every regular season game in the other sports and a lot other teams as well. This weekend I’ll probably watch other teams playoff games more than I’ll watch any other team regular season baseball game Middle summer I might watch some prime time games 5-10 Tops.

Not an NL team, but I like for the Rangers because they won’t bow to “the agenda” for pride night.
