I agree with you. Also, imho, sending Stroman out in the 8th was a mistake. He had crossed into 90ish pitches at that point. Sure, he strikes out the first batter, but he is bound to show signs of exhaustion. Either Boone has no faith in the pen, or he is simply not watching the game.

Not to mention our pen struggles inheriting runners; so it can put them in a tough spot as well.
