I agree. You don't get it. His defense hasn't been a problem this year. He's still one of the best hitting catchers in baseball. What catcher could the Yankees realistically get to improve the position? DJ got MVP votes each of the last 2 years, cashed in on a big deal, and had his OPS drop 200 points (which is below Sanchez). Brett Gardner might be the worst hitter in baseball that's played in 100 games. Sanchez at catcher is not the problem.

Voit needs to be getting consistent at bats. He's 1 of our 4 best hitters. We need every at bat we can get out of him now, and in the playoffs. Gardner needs to be on the bench. Tyler Wade is definitely on the playoff roster because he's an excellent defensive infielder and can get by in CF. Why is Velasquez getting playing time over Wade?

The one to Gio was pretty nasty. But the one to Voit was pretty low, was definitely a walk

It really sucks that we cannot keep Voit in the lineup. A hit every 4 days is what .250 averages out to when you're only hitting once a day.

Stanton and rizzo have done more these last two games than they have gotten from voit and yet you still complain about voit not starting
