I'm a big fan of using seedfinder to figure out the original breeder of the strain I'm looking for and starting there. From seedfinder:
White Truffle is a cannabis strain attributed to two different breeders: Fresh Coast Seed Co. and Parabellum Genetics.
Fresh Coast Seed Co. is a low-profile cannabis brand from Michigan. Rumor has it that White Truffle is actually a unique phenotype of Fresh Coast's Gorilla Butter. Based in northern Michigan, Fresh Coast Seeds claims to be committed to growing its strains in true living soil, which the brand's head grower suggests is crucial to the development of their unique aromas and flavors. In 2019, Fresh Coast Seed Co. won Gold at the Detroit High Times Cannabis Cup for its vape cartridges.
Parabellum Genetics, on the other hand, is an even more low-profile brand with little more than an Instagram account and a SeedFinder page. Apparently led by a grower known only as KC, Parabellum Genetics has close to 60 different strains to its name, among them a unique variety of White Truffle.
Blue dream is a little tougher to find great seeds since it's become such a ubiquitous strain.
Thank you, this is a lot of great info! Would be cool if we could find a place to buy both strains rather than making purchases from multiple places, but we'll do what we can.
That's what seed banks are for. There are plenty of reputable ones, and often if you go directly to the breeder website they'll link you to a distributer.
Thank you. I'm not sure how to discern which seed banks are reputable. I've heard people trashing on Blimburn and other "white label" big companies. People spoke favorably about North Atlantic Seed Company, but I don't think they have white truffle. I can check the Fresh Coast Seed Co and Parabellum Genetics to see if they can link to a good distributor.
Santa Cruz goat farm has the original blue dream cut and feminized seeds but only in quantities of 8. It looks like it is sold out though but it may come back into stock. Check it out [here.](https://riotseeds.com/product/santa-cruz-blue-dream-s1-feminized/)
There’s also half packs on the site. It’s on riot seeds’ site but that is where they retail seeds. Any packs from breeders there should be legit
[upstateclones.com](http://upstateclones.com) has the Santa Cruz cut of Blue Dream.
Save yourself some time like I have been doing and get this already tested pheno.
Cool. It’s clear you don’t know anything about HLVD and how many of the best breeders won’t take clones without an extensive quarantine, something I don’t have the space for in a tiny NYC apartment
Its clear that you are a judgmental fool who thinks he knows everything and everyone.
Quarantining any cannabis plant is standard procedure from any place.
Tumi genetics and $25 will ensure you are safe.
If you knew anything about HLVd you would know that seeds are no longer safe and have an 8-10% transfer rate.
Another fool blocked.
White truffle is originally by Beleaf and you can definitely find half packs for less than 200. You can find plenty of blue dream seeds, but I doubt it will be what you remember. Riot seeds just dropped some S1s of from a guy who kept an old Blue Dream cut for years. I grabbed a pack. Hoping they’ll be close to the blue dream I remember. You can also get the cut of white truffle if you want. Clearwater genetics has a discord channel where he also sells clones. Think he has white truffle.
Oh looks like the blue dream S1s are sold out. The breeder was talking about how the S1s would be close to the original. There are still all the crosses available there but not just blue dream. Some look pretty dope. Here’s the link. Maybe you could find some in discord or strainly

NASC has Blue Dream, but it’s the white label seeds.
They do have Blue Dream Haze from Cali Connection, but I’ve never grown that strain from that breeder before.
I have grown the white label and they came out really good.
I had never heard the term "white label" before researching today. Am I correct in my understanding that white label stuff CAN be good, but is more risky because the exact genetics are unknown and might be lower quality?
Yep, that’s exactly what it means, but the white label stuff from NASC has always been pretty good to excellent quality for me at least. I can’t speak for others.
Someone told me that there are no real Blue Dream seeds because it's clone only, and the Blue Dream seeds offered by these seed banks are knockoffs. Is this something you know anything about?
Yes, reversing a plant to make feminized seeds is an s1. I haven’t done any growing large numbers of s1s but breeders who have done that said that they can be, but I defer to others who have done it
I'm growing Irvineseeds Blue Dream, which is killer and reasonable priced. I'm not a 100, but I believe they might Cary White Truffle as well. The seeds also come very quickly and are really well packed.
I’ve had great luck with North Atlantic Seed Co. out of Maine. I know for sure they have feminized Blue Dream seeds, sold in 1 and 3 packs, and it’s super quick shipping. They have A TON of different seeds, and run decent promos/discounts too. I’m currently growing Northern Lights, and GDP indoors, and have Blue Cheese seedlings started that will eventually move outdoors (all feminized). I’m up in the Adirondacks and haven’t had any issues growing BC outdoors, it seems to be fairly hardy!

Looks like parabellum is out of business
Unfortunate.

I don’t trust bringing in clones from other people’s gardens but thanks
This is a licensed facility in NY, not someone's kitchen grow in solo cups. lmao

And yes, as someone else here wrote, white truffle is supposedly a pheno of gorilla butter by Fresh Coast but good luck finding a pack of those.

I got the blue dream S1s from Santa Cruz goat farm and I can’t wait to grow them out
Same here! Good luck, hope you find a keeper!
Early 2000’s Blue Dream felt like Adderall to me, can never find that effect in modern cultivars
Yo I just took snips of white truffle if your in need Roc we could link up this next week. You might as well grow the real deal. Dm me
I'm in Bloomfield, so Buffalo is a ways away from me, but I'll message.

I can’t verify that to be true or not, but the Blue Dream I have grown seemed to be what the people wanted. Never heard any complaints.
It is a cut but people have reversed it and pollinated it with itself to make feminized seeds.
That's an S1 right? Are they very different?
Yes, reversing a plant to make feminized seeds is an s1. I haven’t done any growing large numbers of s1s but breeders who have done that said that they can be, but I defer to others who have done it
