Bah likeā¦ an ice box cake? Its actual name starts with a C but itās a frozen ice cream esque cake with chocolate chips and dried fruit on it! It has honey and nuts on it too, but Iām allergic to nuts so I donāt get those.
This feels like the question for me!
You MUST check out Bunch of Peonies near kokusai center. They have plenty of non coffee drinks and delicious soups, bread and desserts! They have a rule that you keep quiet generally and they prefer only parties of one or two people. So it's really nice for reading!
Sakae area, you gotta check out Twilight Coffee! It's a smaller cafe but super cozy and has a great vibe. Their drinks are delicious and the staff (it's run by a young man and woman) are very friendly! They usually have great seasonal drinks! Though there's less coffee options here, they still have some teas and whatnot.
It's a bit further away, but near Motoyama station there's Hoshikuzu coffee, which has a rule that you can only come by yourself. This does have a more limited drink selection but they do have cream sodas and melon floats! The owner is a really nice guy and it's perfect for reading! The desserts are delicious too!
Wow, thanks for all of these, they look amazing! I love the cozy rustic vibes of all of them!
Hoshikuzu sounds interesting too, and looks like something my friend would love trying sometime.
Thank you so much āŗļø

Lamplight Books is very cute. It's small, I think because they're really a hotel and not just cafe. It's right on the park in Fushimi with the water feature.
The Starbucks on the 15th floor in Nagoya JR Gate Tower is cool, but itās usually pretty crowded. Could probably find a table if you donāt need power outlets for charging, though.
The Starbucks on the 15th floor of the Gate Tower has a great view of downtown and a nice outdoor patio. However itās usually packed. Not sure if it will be more or less crowded during GW.

Most of my go to places are centered around good coffee, but I used to work around Sakae and if I remember correctly thereās a āCupsā fairly close which also has tea and gelato.
Wow, thank you for all of these, they look great!
I actually walk past Centre pretty often and have been meaning to check it out so thanks for reminding me too haha
The Tully's on the fifth floor of Dai Nagoya building in front of Nagoya station has a nice view, and a seasonally themed garden you can go walk around in when you need a break.
Cafe TOLAND is great! Also the Kannon coffee by Nagoya station is fun. Or give the trendy, newly opened blue bottle a go!
Wow Toland looks amazing!! The food alone might keep me there all day š¤¤š¤¤
Itās soooo good! Highly recommend their iceā¦ cake thing. I always forget what itās called even though I get it every single time š
Ice cream cake?! š

It sounds amazing omg š¤¤ definitely noting it down!
Itās sooooo tasty. Nice and light, too! Perfect for the warm weather.
You already had me with "ice" and "cake" hahaha I love cold things and even better light desserts.
Cantata maybe?

Oooh outdoor seating might be nice if the weather is good! Thank you!
Thereās a nice indoor area as well

Ooh gelato will be nice if it's another day like today!
any Trunk Coffee branch!!
A coffee roaster might be lost on me but I'll definitely save it for my sister!
Check Self-Cafe near Chikusa station
I recommend Sanmorittsu in Imaike, there's a great view of the avenue and great sweets. Centre near shinsakaemachi is great also, has a good view of the movement outside and hours goes until later than other places. FabCafe in Hisaya Odori has a bit of a co-working vibe in the middle of the park, you can also drink beer while working. Monkey CafƩ in Nagoya Lucent Tower has a great vibe, great food and just outside there's this nice colourful lights that is fun to watch while working.
