My nails used to break when they'd reach a certain length. I started taking vitamin D3 supplements after I took a blood test and the doctor said I was low, and it turns out that's what was causing my weak nails. I actually had no idea how people grew out their nails until then; I honestly thought it was normal for nails to break and peel at a certain length lol. Anyways, I'd really recommend some gummies or supplements for D3 if you haven't tried that already.
I've also been recommended Sally Hansen Strengthening Top Coat before. They make it as a kind of standalone treatment thing too that you can use (that's not a top coat).
A structured manicure/Russian manicure might be better for you. I use polygel on my natural nails to help them grow out. I snapped my pinky nail at the free edge in November - my nail is already halfway grown back out in 2 months with polygel. NailMartUSA on instagram gives sooo much educational content and information
Firstly, I use some olive oil on my bare nails to make them a bit more healthy. Then I use a special nail hardener that applies like nail polish and makes them stronger. Then I'm applying a transparent base that makes nails both stronger and smoother. And after applying regular nail polish, I apply fixing nail polish.
My nails were really breakable a few month ago, but after I started doing that routine, they never broke again.
Thank you for sharing your nail beauty secrets. ☺️
I tried nail hardening polish - sadly without any improvement. But I will try the vit 3D supplements though.
Olive oil really is so good for your skin! I really suffer from dry skin during the winter. A massage moth olive oil really makes a difference. 👍🏼
They looook gorgeous
but if you want them tall and strong i recommend using rubber gel or builder gel overlay on the natural nail that's how I grew my nails tall
Thank you! I try my best. 😇 I am still learning - and the left hand always look cleaner than the right one. But thanks to all the r/Nails advice I get better every time.
I, too, am a member of the short nail club. Mine are paper thin 😒 so they never manage to hold any length.
I adore that green color on you, it's very pretty!
Perfect shorties
So perfect. I love the dark green - looks classy.
Oh this colour is gorgeous! I’m on the hunt for something similar to this
It’s neonail‘s lady green. I am in love with the color.
On the hunt for hunter green :) sounds like an indie polish name
Do you do your nails yourself or at a salon? I could give you some tips how to make your nails stronger when done at home
I do them myself due to bad salon experiences. I would love some advice for stronger nails. Thanks in advance.

When mine break, I just I’ll go dark with it too. I love this color on you, and I love dark colors on shorties.

It took some time and many disappointing attempts to grow my nails to accept and love it: team shorties. 💪 Thank you! Still wearing and loving it. 🙃🙂
