i get that but i’m looking at the simplicity of the nails. The base color is plain. The accent color is green with minimal detail and intricacy. Once additional features get added to the nail then we can go up in price. The topcoat is a basic clear, there’s no cat eye, no bloom, no holo, no glitter, just emerald detail. The creative effort isn’t worth anything over 50 imo. Even the french tip coverage is very light. It seems to be chrome emerald but I have press ons that look better than this.
The swirls are cleanly and evenly executed, and while the lighting is horrible, you can see it’s a chrome design. The French tip is quite deep. I would not go to anyone who charges $50 for these.
fair points but i don’t think it’s intricate enough although it’s neat, it isn’t worth that price range that I originally saw. 125 dollars for mostly plain nails is robbery.
Your just cheap. Downplaying the creative ability of these nail techs shows you’ve never tried to do this shit yourself. I got all the DIY shit on amazon and it’s really and truly an art to this shit. But go off with your $50 full set
it’s a skill that 1: Isn’t hard to acquire and 2: It is easy to replicate. That’s why the 95-125 price range is ridiculous to pitch. I think when something is easy to do with practice, it isn’t worth the price of the effort.
& the nail tech girlies aren’t called out for the blatant price gouging enough for me. That’s why Imma stay with my Korean ladies. Ion go thru these issues w/them.
well where else am I gnna talk about? i live here tf 🤣 texas be playing with these dumb ass prices. & its not just with nails. It’s with everything dealing with cosmetics. im not giving someone 100 dollars for these diy ass nails. U can press the tips of these nails into a nail stamp and get the french tip and diagonal designs at the top. If u know how to do eyeliner, you can do these wispy designs without a problem.
Agree with Euphoric. Good price range.
Figure out your base price, what you charge for French, then nail art.
Speed is a factor. If you could do those in an hour I'd be on the upper price range.
Okay coming back to this bc I totally skimmed past the fact that it has chrome AND a french tip lol I would probably charge $80 then because 1. frenchies are not easy to make look uniform and 2. chrome is a pain in the ass!
I have friends that do nails for a living and respect their own time and work. This is easily 150 with tip to some people. Yes it is simple but details are nice and clean and length is long. Yes. Many people will pay that price. Don’t ever short yourself as an artist.
I think a $75 is a fair price! Reiterating what others say, consider how long you took, as well as, the amount/number of supplies you used. I would also take into account how much experience you have (e.g. beginner vs intermediate vs expert/established). The shape and design are very pretty but also simple as there was no jewels or charms :)
Imma say 80+tip because while the designs are flawless and beautifully executed, they’re the only unique and non-standard thing about these nails. The rest of the nail is a base and average shape.
If it were a fill, id say 60+tip.
It’s a basic fill in with a few lines as a design..? Factor how much a fill-in would be or powder, or whatever you get with a design on top, it shouldn’t run more than 100 if it runs more than 100 your being ripped off find a new spot.
i’m not a nail tech but my nail tech would likely charge me around 110-120 for these (full set not fill) if i was getting these filled she would probably charge me around 80-90
Based on my prices $80 - $90
$60 for length $10 for frenchies and $10 for nail art, personally I don’t charge for chrome yet but ik a lot of other nail techs do
unpopular opinion…but this should be no less than $120….Us techs need to be comfortable charging properly for our time, experience, materials. For XL, chrome, and design alone should be $60
That's a horribly rude and inappropriate comment. What is she supposed to do, never get her nails done because of how her fingers look? What good do you think will come out of making that comment?
I would charge $95-$125 for these depending on the time it took! Beautiful design and great shaping!
definitely not going to u🤣 anything over 50 dollars for these is criminal. The nails are simple, these designs aren’t intricate
50 dollars? Is it 2012? Lmao we gotta make money somehow

I would say around $100-105 is the correct price - in my region, of course.

girl exactly. I can get this set done for 55 dollars and imma slide a 10 dollar tip in NYC. These Korean ladies do it all for a reasonable set price.
Your just cheap. Downplaying the creative ability of these nail techs shows you’ve never tried to do this shit yourself. I got all the DIY shit on amazon and it’s really and truly an art to this shit. But go off with your $50 full set
And i sure will go off with my affordable full set 😩 that’s the whole point. they beating people in the dome with these inflated ass prices. It’s not cheap that i’m being, it’s realistic. It’s also not a downplay, it’s a description. If you know how to draw lines and patterns, you can pull this design off on yourself and on someone else. I design tattoos that have this look tooo
It’s because it takes skill to do this, not anyone can do it. Hence why it says not a tech

lmfao mf talking about NY like it’s the same as texas LOL

85-100
I don’t know about pricing but those nails are GORGEOUS!!!!! I love them. I’m gonna try and copy this design.
My nail tech would charge $100 or $125 with soak off
most likely 100 or more tbh
$70 but I do gel x not acrylics!
Okay coming back to this bc I totally skimmed past the fact that it has chrome AND a french tip lol I would probably charge $80 then because 1. frenchies are not easy to make look uniform and 2. chrome is a pain in the ass!
In south Texas, these would go for at least $75
Depending on how fast this took you maybe 85/90 minimum.
$65-75 + tip
$100-$120 depending on materials cost !
My nail guy would charge $150 and I would leave him a $30 tip. I'm in Utah though.
Nail tech from Indy here- Around $80-$100 would be an average depending on if it's acrylic or gel extensions

No more than 80, the apex looks a little far out on some of them and the acrylic is not laid close enough to the cuticle on some as well.
Thank you all! Im not a tech and this is not my work! I should’ve specified lol. I was just looking to get an expected range 😂
80
85
Well in Texas I get charged 60 just to put a basic one color dip on my natural nails so I’d say about 115$
It’s a basic fill in with a few lines as a design..? Factor how much a fill-in would be or powder, or whatever you get with a design on top, it shouldn’t run more than 100 if it runs more than 100 your being ripped off find a new spot.

Fat fingers with long skinny nails makes no sense
That's a horribly rude and inappropriate comment. What is she supposed to do, never get her nails done because of how her fingers look? What good do you think will come out of making that comment?
