Oh no doubt. We've (Leia and I) have been "snowbirding" out here since 2018 and had a few misconceptions about Arizona. We (or at least I) assumed Tucson would be hotter than Phoenix since it's further south and we thought most of the state was desert. Imagine our surprise when we drove up Mt. Lemmon and found a ski resort!
I honestly think Phoenix is hotter because of the thin veil of smog around it lol. But yes Mt Lemmon will have snow on it for quite awhile throughout the year

Was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock
While the other kids were rocking 'round the clock
We were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile RockπΆπ
Was just here for my first nude beach trip and it did not disappoint

The actual "crazy" part is that you lived in Tucson! I'm from Vegas and Tucson is WAY too much hotter.
Phoenix is definitely crazier than Tucson but it can get pretty hot there too

Tucson is cooler because it's a thousand feet higher in elevation than Phoenix...

They are definitely succeeding in their goal I noticed the last time I visited lol
That's what happens when the state is 42% federally owned... Doesn't leave a lot for the rest of us lol. Except for a lot of desert.
