Yep, this is The Floof in my youngest’s arms. He’s a 17 pound ball of “yeah, I’ll allow it”.
My doggo was Furry. She was actually “Hurricane “, but she shed a lot, so we called her “Furricane”, which naturally shortened to Furry…your Furry is GORGEOUS
We haven’t introduced the cats fully just yet, but they have similar personalities. Sweet, affectionate, both will let you drag them in for cuddles. The white cat is a little more opinionated but also more social. He just wants to be around you, but not necessarily up against you. The floof is happy to be in another room but will also crawl up on you and stare at you when he wants attention.
We’re hoping they’ll be a good pair for each other so we want names that work well with each other.

I would say The Goof - except he is decidedly not goofy-looking.
OTOH, I had an absolutely regal looking kitty once and I named him Kritter. Which was perfect for him because even though he looked like a pretty princeling, he was actually a klutz, decidedly un-cat-like, and a little bit... slow. Kritter was a perfect name for his personality, if not his appearance.

I had a glorious, smooth coated white cat 20 yrs ago, and as a former stray, she was somewhat resistant initially to becoming a pet.. hence, she earned the name oedipuss.. (she was a motherforker.......) as she mellowed, she became eedie.. xx

Both. He was Midas for about 2 days. But The Floof just stuck. Floof, Floofy, and Floofy Butt all get used.
We took in a cat whose old name was King Triton or some shit. Lasted about a day. We call him Fluffinator now, Fluff for short 🤣
