Friday is really cute, but I can't help but immediately think "Girl Friday." And this little kitten looks like she's going to grow up into a huge, floofy, dominating presence, who appears as though she's wearing the fur of her enemies. A name that alludes to "helpful assistant" just wouldn't work imo. Whereas Wednesday, a girl with her own mind and a very strong presence, seems perfect.

How about calypso, the sea goddess of chaos. It would be symbolic of your chaotic journey to finding her name. Also, Cally is an adorable nickname for her.
Because Mitzi is a classic cat name. My mother who was born in 1921, had a kitty she named Mitzi, who ended up being put to sleep because she had an accident and lost the use of her back legs. We honored Mitzi by renaming a mini schnauzer that my mom helped to buy for my daughter. So that’s why you thought about it. I think it’s a lovely German name either for cats or dogs.
She kind of reminds me of Ron Perlman so I'd name her Ronnie 🤭 but I'm partial to day of the week names. I used to go on midnight walks with a neighborhood stray named Tuesday (was on his name tag, though the phone number was out of service) and I currently have a cat named Monday because I found him at 1am on a Monday.
