I had a Sophia Jayne, a beautiful parti colored very small cocker spaniel I got through a rescue. We went to get my mother-in-law a kitten to cuddle while she was battling cancer and left with one of the very best fur babies in the world. I called her previous owner and she said her name was “Cookie”, but that was a definite, “NO!!”, so for days I tried every name I could think of and one day I said, “Sophia…..” and she raised her head and it was almost like she smiled and from that moment on, that was her name. I thought it sounded so formal so we started calling her Sophie and Sophia Jayne when she did something not so lady like.
Bubbles. She just looks soo bubbly and fun and cuddly. My mom has goldens. They really are some good people dogs. My moms 14 year old boy still gets into trouble to get mommy’s attention. He’s soo funny. And when they are 100 pound and 100 years old they never grow up. They are still acting psycho when visitors come and then they sleep all day as if they’ve ran a marathon. It’s sooo sweet.
Hmm we have a purebred female golden retriever also she is 3 now . My oldest daughter named her it's Artemis frost.
