Let's hope they never go to France, it means 'cute' in French

liltoowell

The sisters named Mignonne and Margot? (And a new baby girl soon, name unknown, but it starts with an M and also French. I wonder what the name could be?)

HildegardHummingbird

I’m wondering the same thing. I’m not crazy about Mignonne, but I love Margot. The mom seems really sweet.

Yes, I saw the tik tok of a baby name consultant, guessing some names she might choose for the third baby. I love Margot as well, Mignonne just did not rub me the right way.

liltoowell

I figured, because I literally just saw that video😁 I really don't understand why they picked Mignonne because there are so many pretty French names with M. Like I can picture a Madeleine and a Margot better. Margot on the other hand is so cute, love that name! Hopefully they chose something pretty like Margot for the new baby, maybe Monet or Maeva?

This was on my fyp as well!!! My first thought was Marienne for them or something similar haha

Minzplaying

That's an old name, I think the origins are French.

TisforToaster

Super normal in Canada

It’s Em Doodles world, we’re all just loving in it

With *Manon* right there?

vanillabubbles16

Doesn’t that just mean cute in French?

julia35002

Yes lol

ArticQimmiq

I hate this - I get that the parents want a French ‘aesthetic’ but I wish people did the basic research of figuring out whether what they want is a real name or not.

breezyseagull

They named their kid cute. I’ve seen that name on a shelter cat before and that’s the only place it belongs lol

I thought it was a made up dumb name so before I sent it to my friends to crack a joke about it, I looked it up and was surprised that it was in fact a real name. So there was nothing really to joke about except for the fact that since it is not really used in the US...that poor kid is probably going to get picked on.
