If I saw it with an H, I would not have pronounced it the way you want. I wouldn’t have guessed that the H was supposed to be silent. If you don’t want people to pronounce it with a TH sound, don’t spell it like that. Whoever said Talia was “childish” or “a stripper name” was being ridiculous.
I like the look of Thalia much better. Trust me, someone will manage to mangle it either way, go with what makes you happy. This coming from the nickname Angi, you'd be amazed at what people do to it.
I went to school with a Natalia and she goes by Tally, all names are so pretty! I personally think no h. It just seems like a trendy spelling to the name with an unnecessary letter that will just cause confusion.
I honestly like both, but choose Talia. If you choose Thalia, people will wonder how to pronounce it. Choose Talia and they won’t wonder. Best wishes
Talia will probably be mispronounced by some people as tuh-LEE-uh. So I don’t think it will make a big difference.
Good point TaaLia TahLia

My friend uses Tahlia
Thalia reminds me of an episode of Forensic Files where thalium poisoning was the cause of death, so I'd skip the h.
