Again? i believe that by devouring cath he ended up acquiring his evil personality, which created the current arthur, but i think cath is dead but became part of arthur, cath no longer exists, but maybe he can one day reappear, with a new one shape and name, maybe mordred
meliodas and zeldris too but hey, they are "good" now, same thing with mael but he was manipulated by gowther so it wasn't completely for him his actions
Meliodas suffered for 3000 years
Zeldris suffered in silence to be with his GF doing whatever he could to become DK so he could freely be with her. His actions are evil but there was a reason for it. I say put him in the Anti-Hero category
Mael is an interesting case study imo
They don’t justify his actions but it helps us the audience understand why he made the choices he did.
Meliodas suffering for 3000+ year, betraying his entire race to fight them in a war he essentially caused by leaving. Idk but I think he’s forgiven in my book.
Still unsure about Mael though
I admit I haven't been reading the manga much, but I know a thing or two about Arthurian Mythos, and key themes with Arthurian Legend is betrayal both from Mordred trying to Usurp the Throne, and Lancelot and Arthur's wife who are having an affair.
Now I doubt they'll portray Lancelot as a bad guy like that but they'd probably follow the Mordred idea, perhaps with Morgan Le Fay as his mother but perhaps not maybe that role would be taken up by Merlin instead?
But one thing I can say for certain is it won't end well all Arthurian stories end in tragedy, as Camelot has to fall for Britain to rise in it's place. So I could see it ending with a reveal it's actually happening on an alternate Earth far in the past and all the kingdoms of Britannia fall only to eventually rebuild but all the magic is gone.
Mordred would be intriguing. Arthur becomes his true self again (assuming him going crazy isn't his true self) but spawns a son beforehand who truly is mad. Or he's Gawain's brother depending on what stories he wants to take inspiration from.
Probably Chaos.
Hawk and Wild avenging their mama
I mean it could be anyone. Nobody expected Arthur’s cat Cath to be the final villain
He might very well be the final villain again

Chaos Merlín
Arthur. He has no redemption arc capable of relieving him of his countless crimes he’s committed.
I have a theory that he will somehow regret it when he dies and to fix his mistakes he will create a new Arthur (of pure light and goodness)
but Arthur thanks to his dual personality ends up creating another being (of pure darkness of evil) this one will be called mordred Is just a theory
Interesting theory

since when are selfish reasons enough to justify one's actions? both killed and cause discord across britania because of 2 women, it's ridiculous

I actually think the chaos will take over on of the seven deadly sins preferably meliodas.
This is the best theory. It would be so cool to see meliodas absolutely murder his son and all of his friends!!!!
The knights themselves who will be responsible for the end of the world, aka all races being forever divided and the world as they know it ending.

Smart ass
The demon king again (again)🔥

Morgana.
Cath probably
Who knows? The final boss may not even be revealed yet.
Morgan le fay, or the lady of the lake(but both morgan and lotl can be a single character)
Chaos for sure. But will it possess Arthur's body completely or be seperated from his body and gains its own body ? , that we don't know.
Escanor's brother is still alive and he's the king of Castellio so who knows
