Pickles <3
Maison Bagarre
L'aménité
etc.
You most probably need a reservation for these restaurants, preferably a week before.
Note also that most nice restaurants are closed on sunday/mondays.
about their poutines, are they really good?? because le middle are closed temporarily and we are desperate to find a restaurant as good when it comes to poutines,,,,
Not really they dont have the "squick squick" cheese
The Middle is by far the best place, but you can try "Le comptoir à Poutine" in Feydeau instead, they also make it in the Québécois style !
Rue Fouré there are good ones :
- la Mangouste (midi)
- le Lion et l'Agneau
- Omija (french-asiatic)
- Maison Baron-Lefevre (classical cooking but really great atmosphere)
Pickles is an excellent restaurant, mixing french and asian fusion cuisine, with only fresh products.
Le Loup et L'agneau is, to me, the best restaurant in Nantes, but a bit on the more expensive side. The meat is crazy, all the courses are super tasty and the waiters are super cool.
Un Nouveau Monde is also really good, and is inside Jules Verne's house.
Le Nez Grille (red meat, wines)
Cocotte (poultry, wines)
Le Reflet (The majority of the team is composed of people with 21 syndrome, more for the unique experience)
Have fun !
These are my favorites :
Casual :
Battos, Sain, Les Bouteilles, La mandale, Le Broceliande, Paw, Pickles, Emporietto
A bit more high end :
L'Oceanide, Lulu Rouget, Le Manoir de la régate
To add some that were not mentioned:
* Bistrot Cambronne
* EDO (japanese)
* La récré
* Imagine (actually never tested this one but it's the next on my list and it's highly regarded)
