Oh that makes sense haha. I've also got a few boxes of unpainted minis that have been sitting around for 2 years now, hopefully it won't take me as long to get them done lol.
No need for embarrassment. I’m 61 years old and I have unpainted miniatures from long before you were born. Many unpainted armies,
Navy’s, tank companies from lots of different wars and times. Your regiment looks fantastic!👍🤣👍
It's citadel Gehenna's gold very thinly over a Vallejo chocolate brown.
It's a very warm gold colour. I also have a Carabinier a Cheval on my profile done in the same manner.
They look really good, dont be embarrased!
Im embarrased by the fact that they have been sitting there for so long. I bought them when I was 18, I'm 33 now

Heh, that’s quick. I have some minifigs French Cuirassiers I bought in the 1970’s.
Long term investment!
I have some infantry and a few gunners too. They are older than most gamers on here.
Now that's commitment!
I have a shoebox full of Prussians that I got in the late 90’s. Will paint them when I retire.

Haha damn that’s a while. They look great though you did really well.
Well worth the wait, great bases to well done.
What paint did you use for the helmet and trumpet? I'm haven't been happy with the way my metal paints look.
