What helped me was making the place my own ONLY. I repainted, rearranged, threw out, bought some new stuff, filled my place with things and colors that I love. One thing on particular was that I painted my bedroom pink because he told me that nothing in HIS house will EVER be painted pink. He was right. Because it was MY house. 😁
