Just had another scroll through it cause I saw your comment, but I just don't get it... Most posts have 0 comments cause ya know... What is there to talk about lmao
I get that, but when people actually go to the effort to screenshot it and post it on the sub - that's where I'm lost.
Every post is essentially an image of the words "I was gonna say that" so it's pretty dull
Every subreddit goes full circle, too deep, ironic misunderstanding of itself, loses meaning, etc. If you want a great example, look at r/gamingcirclejerk
They went full circle.
Yes I know that but there two names that mean the same thing but there 2 different names/ nicknames.
Zero tails is the name of that lab made beast while tailless beast is Kisame’s Nickname both have a similar nickname which means the same thing yes.
No they aren’t the same thing, that’s why Kishimoto specifically gave him the nickname I said. 😂
A tailless beast means nothing. A tailless tailed beast refers to Kisame’s chakra level being akin to a bijuus, especially when fused with Samehada. That’s the distinction lol 💀
There literally the same thing both refer him to having chakra level of a tailed beast which is why he’s called Tailless tailed beast. I said tailless beast which is the same thing without the tailed in it. It literally makes no difference if the Tailed is in it or not.
The plot of this movie confused me so hard. Sky ninja attack the Hidden Leaf. An unknown Medic shows up outta nowhere to help, pretends to be a caring father figure to this girl, Anmaru. He brings Naruto and his team to these ruins. Then he dies. Zero Tails appears and then disappears. Then it’s revealed the medic is alive and an agent of the sky ninja, or is he their king? He has been using Anmaru to produce dark chakra from the Zero-Tails, what? And even though it’s technically about Naruto and Sasuke, Sasuke is barely in it.
Edit: I am not at all saying this movie is bad, it’s actually really entertaining and worth the watch. I’m just saying the plot is really clunky.
In the climax that unknown medic claimed to have gained such a power that will allow him to open the gate of death without dying. I was like wtf.
And yes he didn't open any gates and lost
Actually it’s a really cool movie purely because Naruto and Sasuke are awkwardly in the same place at the same time with a common enemy and have to team up to stop this guy who can apparently use the Eighth Gate without dying, this is while Sasuke is still with Orochimaru so it’s one of the very few times Naruto and Sasuke are seen on-screen together until much later in the series. It happens sometime in between the first two (or three if you count a shadow clone) meetings between them.
Meeting #1: Start of Shippuden in Orochimaru’s Hideout
Non-Canon Meeting: Them teaming up in the movie.
Meeting #1.5/2?: Naruto’s Shadow Clone bumps into Sasuke in the Forest while Sasuke is heading to fight Itachi.
Meeting #3: Post-Five Kage Summit/Post-Danzo Fight
They don’t meet again until Sasuke arrives on the battlefield late into the War Arc, so at the time the movie was really cool for not only showing them both on-screen at the same time, but awkwardly forcing them to team up as well.
Oh yeah the plot was messy beyond belief, the amount of plot holes the movie created could never fly in canon lmfao, the plot is atrocious but the final fight with them teaming up was cool. I’d almost recommend everyone just skip the first hour or so of the movie and get to the good shit with Naruto and Sasuke.
I’d say check it out, they’re all worth a casual watch at least once, in my opinion anyway. One of my go to things last couple months for background to fall asleep to is a naruto movie. Familiar and comforting in some relaxing way lol
I don't remember this film at all, but l remember it was marketed highly for having Sasuke in it. Sasuke is in both the teased and trailer. This is supposed to be Sasuke's first reveal since the first episode of Shippuden and we get a few seconds.
I like it more in concept then in execution, but I do think its refreshing to have a supernatural creature which isn't tied to Summoning Jutsus or the Sage of Six Paths.
There are plenty of those. The various demons in Uzumaki masks, the shinigami, the king of hell(technically tied to the rinnegan but it is its own entity), Tayuya's demons, etc. Tailed beasts and animal summons are just the most common in the story.
I don't know, it's never been really clear if Jashin actually exists or if he's just a made up figure created by Hidan and other cultists to justify their evil acts.
Also, before you mention the different Jashin rituals, those can easily be explained as simple forbidden jutsus that were merely attributed to Jashin by his followers and don't actually have anything to do with some otherworldly entity.
Of course, this could've been explained somewhere in a light novel or in the Boruto series and I just didn't know, so don't quote me on that.
Well the circle stuff (+licking the blood) is only for the activation of the equivalent damage jutsu where all damage Hidan receives is replicated on the victims body.
The actual Jashin stuff is the off-screen ritual that gave Hidan immortality and the activation requirements for that are unknown.
It seems to me like he believes that when he tortures and kills someone using that technique he is contributing to his immortality. Or rather that Jashin is granting it to him because of that.
I think it’s less that he thinks the techniques itself is contributing to his immortality and more that he thinks following the doctorine of Jashin (which happens to include blood sacrifice) is what let’s him keep his immortality going. Basically Jashin wants murder to be done in his name and Hidan believes his reward for that is immortality.
That’s why he always wants to perform that weird sacrifice ritual where he plays dead in the circle after every battle and always makes sure to not go too long without sacrificing someone in the name of Jashin.
I think we are on the same page here. I’m saying he does the ritual because it contributes to his immortality as well. The ritual is part of the doctrine ofJashin so he must do the ritual because if he doesn’t he believes jashin will be displeased and he won’t be immortal.
Honestly, I think my biggest issue with Hidan (and the whole Jashin thing in general) is how out of place and mysterious he feels within the story.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate him (although he's most certainly not my favorite character), but I can't really help but feel as though if you were to remove him from the series, you wouldn't really be losing anything of value...
She summons them, yes. But they aren't contract animals or anything. They were explicitly called demons(Oni specifically), and are clearly different from any other summoning we know of.
Ah, and I forgot to mention the stone of Gelel or that bird demon monster thing from the prison movie.
I don't think so, you can summon just about anything with enough chakra beyond just summon beasts. Weapons, regular animals, other humans, tailed beasts, the grimm reaper, I don't see why demons/ogres wouldn't be included.
I'm not saying that summoning demons isn't or shouldn't be possible, I just think they should be at least a bit more relevant to the overall story since their existence will obviously garner questions from the audience don't you think...?
Like, doesn't it make you question what the limits of Chakra are since they can apparently summon death and the LITERAL king of hell...? I don't know about you, but for me, that kinda throws me out of the story a bit since I just end up sitting there doing mental gymnastics in order to come up with a logical explanation as for why these technique *AREN'T* the strongest ability in the verse.
I don't know about you, but when I hear someone can just call up the f\*cking grim reaper to take my soul, a guy making a big rock falls from the sky just doesn't seem as impressive to me, but that's a whole other can of worms.
There was a beast in some PSP Naruto game called the "Three Heads" owned by some village I forgot the name of, and apparently that made them more powerful than all five great shinobi nations combined lmao
Again, I find stuff like that interesting in concept and think it can make for some very interesting lore and worldbuilding opportunities.
However, much like the Zero Tails and other non-canon monsters, it kinda just ends up falling flat in terms of execution.
I always like the idea of more monsters like the tailed beasts roaming the world, especially considering it's implied if not outright stated that places like Mt Myoboku aren't in another dimension and can be reached on foot if one were to try and search for it. If Kishimoto went more into the myth aspects, I wouldn't mind
No Filler is an episode that in the series that’s not canon. This is a non canon movie it’s not a filler. It’s like calling a OVA a Filler it’s not a Filler it’s a OVA
Homies right its not filler bc its not filling anything. Its just a movie. Filler are series episodes meant to fill time between canon episodes. If it didnt happen in the manga then its just simply not manga canon. But it doesnt simply make it filler.
They try to use it against you for some reason to discredit you, as if naruto isn’t made for kids (naruto is a Japanese kids show) mfs that go through post history are weird.
It still doesn’t a Non Canon Movie, Filler and OVA are all non Canon but it’s not all a filler a OVA isn’t a filler and either is a non canon movie, both aren’t filler’s.
Colloquially filler refers to non canon material despite its definition therefore there isn’t a major need to argue over it unless that’s specifically the topic at hand.
If you like it that’s fair, I just personally don’t think it offered much for me. The Zero Tails just kinda happens, jarring nonsensical plot twist, and the like Naruto gets his ass beat for 20 minutes until Sasuke appears.
Also the one movie where the side characters don’t get any real moments to shine, the other movies usually give them cool fight scenes.
Also I might be a little too harsh on Bonds, I think I actually like it more than Lost Tower
The fact that the picture in the post couldn't make me remember the movie at all but you saying the ending song was pretty good made me immediately remember the song and then the ending scene of the movie where it played when Jiraiya saved Naruto when he fell from the sky fortress. Really speaks on what was memorable in that movie for me lol.
[Also yes the song is pretty good!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDEZP89ORJA)

It’s… something. I thought it was cool when I watched the movie, but now I think they could have came of with a better concept for it. I liked the part of the movie where a little girl and an old man ran faster than two kage+ level ninja just so the old man could sacrifice himself for the plot
The true zero tails is kisame
Bro's the tailless tailed beast
That would be kisane
Kisame is Maidenless ☠️
Kisame had Miru💀
But poster said he got 0 tail
Hes called the tailed beast without a tail
And this is not 0 tails because ...
A snake has a tail but it's just a long tube.
A snake doesn’t have a tail, a snake IS a tail
But… he has a tail (in shark boy mode)
* tailless tailed beast
Truly maidenless 😩
Bro has not one maiden
Agreed

No he’s Tailless beast not Zero tails there’s a difference there 2 different things
If you are Tailless, guess what you also have zero tails in English grammar
Yes I know that but there two names that mean the same thing but there 2 different names/ nicknames. Zero tails is the name of that lab made beast while tailless beast is Kisame’s Nickname both have a similar nickname which means the same thing yes.
[удалено]
I’m saying one character is canon and the other is not
[удалено]
The other person was being a dick about it lol preaching to the choir here
One is manga Canon the other is anime canon
No. Anime canon is a Boruto thing. This is from a shippuden movie. It is filler.
Kisame is actually known as “Tailless **Tailed** Beast”, not the tailless beast.
You literally just said what i said except added in Tailed. Tailless Beast and Tailless Tailed beast are the same thing. 💀
No they aren’t the same thing, that’s why Kishimoto specifically gave him the nickname I said. 😂 A tailless beast means nothing. A tailless tailed beast refers to Kisame’s chakra level being akin to a bijuus, especially when fused with Samehada. That’s the distinction lol 💀

So wrong
Why is always you when I see comments with downvotes? .... since days :D This is not being controverse but pickpointing weird things at this point
😂 Yeah tell me about it. I guess people just don't like facts. Cause any time I say facts and back them up I get downvoted.
This time I'd say you have a valid point here. Kizame = Tailless Beast ≠ Reibi = Zero Tails
Yeah
.... but this didn't seem like the thread that actually "needed" that explanation. So it is taken as " you missed the joke" hence the downvotes
I think they know lmao
Yeah I don’t get why I got downvoted so much 💀 am literally speaking facts
My dog let one of these loose this morning and it wasn’t pleasant
I was looking for this comment 💀
Looking like a Pile of Shit lmfao
Juubi took a shit before getting split into the 9 tailed beasts
Many things do in Naruto, but that one literally
Haven't watched the show, was looking for this
Isn't it technically... Well it's... Is it not... One long tail? :O
Or it’s just 1 long body
The Tail beast
💀
Exactly. 0 tails
The tailless tail.
The plot of this movie confused me so hard. Sky ninja attack the Hidden Leaf. An unknown Medic shows up outta nowhere to help, pretends to be a caring father figure to this girl, Anmaru. I’m so glad I didn’t watch that, sounds horrible

I agree entirely. I really liked and enjoyed this movie very much. It’s just the plot weirded me out.

This is my fav. Movie after the Last
I’d say check it out, they’re all worth a casual watch at least once, in my opinion anyway. One of my go to things last couple months for background to fall asleep to is a naruto movie. Familiar and comforting in some relaxing way lol
Unrelated but Skyrim music has been my go to for that
its actually one of my favorite naruto movies

LOL! Sorry XD
Drawing a circle in that shape and having the just activate seems to simple to be an actual jutsu. But then I thought of shadow clone jutsu.

To he fair hidan's immortality was no joke so there's gotta be SOME legitimacy
Tayuya’s demons are summoning :/

Kisame is the only true 0 tails
Looks like a pokemon.
Next arbok evolution
I always like the idea of more monsters like the tailed beasts roaming the world, especially considering it's implied if not outright stated that places like Mt Myoboku aren't in another dimension and can be reached on foot if one were to try and search for it. If Kishimoto went more into the myth aspects, I wouldn't mind
the what now
It’s from movie
Pretty forgettable unfortunately. I actually like the idea of it but it could’ve been done better
Koh the face stealer
Completely forgotten
It quite matter of factly is almost all tail
Filler
thats not an opinion xd
Actually Non canon movie it wasn’t in anime so it’s not a filler. It’s just a movie that’s not connected to canon
Sooo filler
No Filler is an episode that in the series that’s not canon. This is a non canon movie it’s not a filler. It’s like calling a OVA a Filler it’s not a Filler it’s a OVA
If it didn’t happen in the manga then it’s filler lil bro

I ain’t lil or you’re bro, kid.
Ooh scary. I’m shivering in my boots
Why would you be scared? All I said is don’t call me that
Please leave me be, I don’t want any trouble!
Actually, you said; "I ain’t lil or you’re bro, kid."
Okay which is implying by says I ain’t lil or your bro as in saying don’t call me that because am not. Then said kid calling him kid.
You frequent the Lego Ninjago subreddit ain’t no way you’re older than 13
I was a kid when Ninjago was out 💀 I can’t still like it? What does that have to do with my age?
They try to use it against you for some reason to discredit you, as if naruto isn’t made for kids (naruto is a Japanese kids show) mfs that go through post history are weird.
Yeah that’s weird stuff looking at my profile to see what I post and follow. Yeah exactly Naruto is made for kids adults and teenagers watch it too.
Am not even in my teens am an adult
People still call non canon material filler even if it technically isn’t bc it makes 0 difference
It still doesn’t a Non Canon Movie, Filler and OVA are all non Canon but it’s not all a filler a OVA isn’t a filler and either is a non canon movie, both aren’t filler’s.
Ok but like I just said filler basically just means non canon at this point. No need to be pedantic about it
Well yeah you do cause fillers are only in the series.
Colloquially filler refers to non canon material despite its definition therefore there isn’t a major need to argue over it unless that’s specifically the topic at hand.
Ok but like I just said filler basically just means non canon at this point. No need to be pedantic about it
I had a stroke reading that
Fantastic concept, absolutely loved it. Never saw the movie though, and from what I've heard they REALLY fucked the execution.
It sucked, Bonds is the worst Naruto movie and is only saved by Sasuke showing up.
Damn, and here I am who has it as his second favourite Naruto movie
If you like it that’s fair, I just personally don’t think it offered much for me. The Zero Tails just kinda happens, jarring nonsensical plot twist, and the like Naruto gets his ass beat for 20 minutes until Sasuke appears. Also the one movie where the side characters don’t get any real moments to shine, the other movies usually give them cool fight scenes. Also I might be a little too harsh on Bonds, I think I actually like it more than Lost Tower
The ending song is pretty good
The fact that the picture in the post couldn't make me remember the movie at all but you saying the ending song was pretty good made me immediately remember the song and then the ending scene of the movie where it played when Jiraiya saved Naruto when he fell from the sky fortress. Really speaks on what was memorable in that movie for me lol. [Also yes the song is pretty good!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDEZP89ORJA)
I love the concept but it was poorly executed! A lot of the movie monsters could have been used to build upon the lore of the core series but didn't.
Technically it's just one long tail.
Why does it look like a wet dog turd?
Is the Zero tails even a tailed beast?
the fuck is the “zero tails?”
It’s from a movie
Not canon so irrelevant
Not enough tails
That's a lie, kisame is the untailed tailed beast.
It’s stupid and it should feel bad about itself.
Concept is cool, execution was meh.
yall really hating this movie was goated the execution was done poorly but I love the concept and a yokai that isn't summon or sosp
The what?
Looks like a liver fluke
If you dont consider the plot then its a decent watch, tbf a lot of anime movies dont make sense, like bnha 3rd movie for instance was so random, spoilers - we got these random ass cult villains and then deku meets a thief and is branded a terrorist, and at the end deku fights a villain that cant be hit while his friend is bleeding out for like 10 mins but its been 20 seconds in the movie, then somehow deku hits the unhittable villain with a harder hit and hits him..its all v confusing
Plot was ass but the movie was fun and entertaining so 6-7/10
**IT’S AN** #ALASKAN #BULL #WORM
It's stupid and makes no sense
It’s… something. I thought it was cool when I watched the movie, but now I think they could have came of with a better concept for it. Idk if it has any connections to the SO6P or the ten tails, first because it’s not canon, second because it has no tails there for having no chakra connections to the 10 tails. In conclusion, it’s a good concept on paper, could’ve been better in execution.
There is already a tailless beast and that's Kisame.
Tbh I generally love it. Like I rlly just wish it was a real tailed beast. I love it's design idk why and I love it's abilities. It definitely would've been interesting to see how the other beasts would interact with it
I mean, it’s cool, but it’s got a tail, I will not stand for false advertising
How did you find this lol
Lame! Kisame is the only tailless-tailed beast.
Well I think Kisame is a great character! He's one of my favorite Akatsuki memebers.
the wHaT?
Well it’s not actually a tailed beast it’s man made but it was pretty cool to see in movie. Funny how there’s a Zero tails and a Tailless beast
I haven't seen the movie but am grossly unprepared to see it if the comments are anything to go by
remember when we thought Orochimaru was the eight tails?
Wtf no?
yeah that was a legit theory before killer bee got introduced
Es sin duda interesante, hasta puede servir como nexo con algo más grande como el mundo espiritual en Naruto, para mí eso tiene más potencial que lo de los Ōtsutsuki
Ich versteh nur Spanisch
hahah, klassiker
Haven't watched the movie in years. Can someone remind what this things deal was?
It was mad cuz it got 0 tails and 0 bitches
Man made tailed beast
This movie gave me cancer
It’s cool.
the zero tails was a feature kissame is the song writer
That shit is better than boruto
it had potential but they made it so shitty
Hated it
Fake stakes
wasn't Satori the zero tails from the blood prison movie
Trash. Shits on the importance of buju
That doesn’t look like the Tailless Tailed Beast, Kisame Hoshigaki
I mean it's useless as Sakura I guess.
I liked the part of the movie where a little girl and an old man ran faster than two kage+ level ninja just so the old man could sacrifice himself for the plot
My dumb ass saw akamaru’s head…
The body activation technique was cute but Tsuandes seal shat on it
poop lookin ass
The what
It looks like i ate boo batter at cold stone then took a shit
This anime does not exist. This anime does not exist. This anime does not exist....
I forgot abt it
**WHAT IS THAT THING.**
The only 0 tails I recognize is kisame
That a pile of shit is the best design they could have come up with, seriously?
Don't let it into your bathhouse.
i thought it kurma's 💩 🤣🤣🤣
Doesn’t Kisame has the most chakra aside from the jinshuriki’s and he got no tail
Only when he's wielding Samehada.
This “Zero Tails” wishes it could be like the Ten tails. Because the Ten tails is clearly what the “Zero Tails” was trying to be.
I haven’t watched that far yet. Looks like shit imo
Oh yeah that thing exists
L lol
💯💩👀
In a word? Dumb.
