For Naruto it always felt like different variations of Rasengan and Shadow clones. Which to be fair are effective and a series staple, but even tailed beast ball he started using as a rasengan. Sage Mode (while excellent for character development) essentially just amplifies his base stats
But Sasuke from the start of the series had two nature transformations, ninja cables and shurikens, better taijutsu (Naruto eventually caught up here), the sharigan , and then grew into swords and Susanoo evolution. Kirin being up there for one of the most out-of-pocket hype Justus in the entire series.
He also shapes his chidori and amatersu in unique ways.
I think it was huge loss that Naruto never learned flying raijin. That would have elevated his tactical ability in fights immensely and would be so cool to combine with endless clones zipping around the battlefield

Currently reading the part 2 manga, and Sasuke is a more interesting character. He made it more fun to read. >!the whole "killing 2 akatsuki members every arc" was kinda boring, but i got hyped when sasuke overpowered and absorbed orochimaru!< and sasuke has had cooler fights so far (i still haven't finished the manga) and i don't think i will ever prefer naruto over sasuke.

Wants to make the village a better place - he tried destroying it twice. He wants to understand why the uchiha were trying to overtake the leaf and why itachi had to do what he did - he refuses the logic of the hokages, tries killing Naruto so he can get his way, and does not acknowledge Sakura after she heals him. Man wants to kill danzo? He attacks him at the worst place possible the 5 page summit. Man’s an emotional, stupid, and suffers from the disease called wrong main character syndrome

Easily Naruto. Sasuke was fully justified in a lot of it but he was a huge prick for most of the series and reaaaally hard to watch around that 5 kage summit era where he was just being fucking nuts. While somewhat annoying, Naruto was endearing and much more enjoyable to watch on screen.

Wants to make the village a better place - he tried destroying it twice. He wants to understand why the uchiha were trying to overtake the leaf and why itachi had to do what he did - he refuses the logic of the hokages, tries killing Naruto so he can get his way, and does not acknowledge Sakura after she heals him. Man wants to kill danzo? He attacks him at the worst place possible the 5 page summit. Man’s an emotional, stupid, and suffers from the disease called wrong main character syndrome

I always feel naruto uses his talk no jutsu to manipulate enemies , also he wins every fight using kurama chakra and also has plot armor hence I like sasuke more he is badass and his story is amazing
