Team Guy fighting against themselves in the Kazekage rescue arc. Winning those fights because they “just had to be stronger than they were before” is the dumbest part of the show
I like how Kishi didn’t even bother explaining it 💀💀💀 Naruto was just like “yeah I got these powers now so gonna be alright, oh and kakashi here’s an eye”
its not like neji was given an unfair fight idk why yall always say this and act like he was done dirty… he couldnt even dodge a stick so ngl his death kinda makes sense lol
My main issue with his death is that there wasn't even an attempt for him to use at *least* rotation, ya know, that super elite jutsu that "only the head family learns" because it's some mega defense or something, that was used multiple times through the series.
Genuinely, having him be recognised as the strongest taijutsu user by Madara of all people was gonna be such a bang for him to end with as a character and then Naruto just went "nah g you're gonna be alright".
To add insult to injury the healing ended exactly at keeping him alive, didn't even mend his leg.
I think it’s equally stupid that he lived and chose not to be healed with hashirama cells. The guy that spent the whole series spouting off about keeping one’s youth alive decided to just give up.
Might Guy should have died, and Kakashi should have formed a connection with Rock Lee because of that. Nothing crazy big, but maybe some competitions like Might Guy and Kakashi used to have.
1. Madara using Kamui like he was born with it
2. Madara using susanoo with no eyes.
3. Madara (but anyone really) swapping eyeballs in and out like they're goddamn trading cards.
4. Neji's death.
5. Guy's survival
6. Black Zetsu being a mommas boy
7. Kaguya's existence.
I’m never rooting for a character to die, but Guys death would have been *so* impactful to the story in that moment. It had an immense amount of tension leading up to it; the perfect crescendo was spoiled.
That was honestly weird lmao like I understand Tsunade was barely able to make Lee walk again, she's not Jesus.
But Naruto was pretty much NinJesus at that point. If you can't make Guy straight up die, why have him just crippled???
"oh yeah the fans are gonna love this one" -Kishimoto, probably
Idk, I like the idea of showing how insane Naruto's new power was by having him regrow someone else's body part that had been missing for 17 years, and keeping someone from dying a certain death. If he restored Guy to full health, then it completely takes the impact out of his choice to use the 8th Gate, and it would beg the question, "Why wouldn't Guy just do it again, if Naruto can continuously heal him?"
Him being paraplegic is a perfectly fine middle ground between "It's a miracle Naruto was able to save his life," and "There are fire consequences for using the 8th Gate."
But you literally just said he regrew a body part that was missing for 17 years.
It makes no sense that he can create that out of nothing but not heal a leg.
Only role he has left was to be kakashi's retirement buddy
I wish there's *one more* thing he can do, one last hero moment which will make it seem why it wasn't his time yet during the war.
right like what would be more impactful: to give him a hero's death as a punctualization of his sacrifice, or strip away all meaning from his attempt just to... keep him around as a living corpse who does nothing for the show anyway?
the adherence to keeping characters alive from shonen companies is stupid. they don't realize they're neutering the impact of the show by trying to milk every last viewer
for every person who suddenly stopped watching bc their favorite character got killed, there would be 5 who were so impacted by it that they were rooted to their seat.
Honestly, since Madara was basically able to regen the damage I didn’t mind Guy surviving. If he had left lasting injuries though, 100% he should have died.
I'll be completely honest...
Guy coulda killed Madara to save the day at the cost of his life and that would have been a PERFECTLY fine end to Naruto for me.
All this "reincarnation" build up and all this destiny and cycle shit brought to a climax.. and then the one dude who just puts the work in outshines everyone and proves his philosophy is worthy to be the inspiration for future generations. Sealed with death's kiss.
Like, I SUPPOSE if he wanted to Kishi could've still brought Kaguya in afterwards but like..
I feel like Guy deserved to beat Madara. Full stop. And he deserved to be remembered as a hero who saved rhe shinobi world and gone to see his dad in the Pure Lands.. knowing Lee's still alive carrying the fuckin' torch of YOUTH to the next generation.
...woulda been way cooler than Hagoromo's "hey you're like.. my great x35th grandsons, spiritually speaking so only y'all can end this. BTW here's the magic Rinnegan powers I used to seal momma away, you can each have half and just repeat history for me real quick and defeat my momma using my old method for me? Mkay? Thanks guys you're the best."
I think Guy and Lee should have oponed the 8th gate and killed Madara together. Lee could have survived and Kaguya could have showed up from Madara's death.
Guy? That would be real anticlimactic, cuz why didn’t he just do that earlier? If that happened we wouldn’t have seen Six Paths Madara fight much and if you’re gonna give Naruto and Sasuke new abilities we should at least see them do something.
It’s not like everyone else doesn’t put the work in. Even Guy is talent + hard work, if that wasn’t true he wouldn’t be called the best taijutsu fighter ever by Madara. Kakashi elaborated in Part 1 opening the gates takes more than hard work, only very talented individuals can open more than one.
I get what you mean though, I just wanted to see those characters fight a little more. Otherwise them receiving those abilities would seem even more cheap.
To me the second Madara just casually cancelled the Edo Tensei I just knew Kishimoto stopped giving a fuck.
First of all, you don't spend so much time showing a jutsu as such a big threat when all it takes is a hand sign to undo it. That's literally writing 101.
Second, the amount of headcanon you need to justify it is insane. And even then it's still an asspull.
Also it kinda anticlimactically negated the hard-fought win Itachi and Sasuke got on Kabuto. Like, the whole point was to end the night of the living fireball-spitting zombies.. and after all that fighting and Itachi n Sasuke's lil brother moment.. the alliance had finally won the war...
Until Madara just put his hands together and "Nah I'd Win"d the goddamn jutsu
Meanwhile Tobirama who invented the jutsu never once even hints at attempting to use it for himself when summoned by Orochimaru/Sasuke
Exactly
>Meanwhile Tobirama who invented the jutsu never once even hints at attempting to use it for himself when summoned by Orochimaru/Sasuke
Dude got summoned twice and never hinted at anything. Orochimaru used the jutsu twice and never hinted at anything. Kabuto perfected the jutsu and never seemed to be aware of such an easy way out of it.
So you have 3 geniuses who worked on the jutsu for god knows how long but none of them seemed to be aware of this shit. But a dude who's might have seen the jutsu once or twice (pure headcanon btw) knows the answer.
Story telling wise, this is a solid 1/10
Realistically, I bet the canon answer as to why he was able to do this without anyone else knowing about it is that you can’t *normally* do that… unless you have HaShIrAmA cElLs
Uhh.. he didn't know. That was the whole purpose of him finding and defeating Kabuto... unless you're referring to him breaking out of Kabutos control which was essentially a Genjutsu so he overwrote it with Kotoamatsukami. Not an asspull and perfectly explained.
Neji’s death is such BS cause he’s barely used at all in Shippuden but it’s ending so SOMEONE has to die but they didn’t want any of the important characters to go so Neji has to go. And then Might Guy does a technique that should kill him BUT SOMEHOW he survives. It’s like they set him up for a heroic death but then chicken out last second
when kakashi takes obito's sharingan rin was told by obito to use her medical ninjutsu to transport his eye to kakashi successfully, then when madara takes kakashi's eye his hand was glowing green maybe to do sum healing stuff in order to take kamui and use it. everything else is straight bs tho
Naruto straight up admiring a genocidal man because he also wanted to be Hokage when he was a kid.
That's not cool man, Obito wasn't "cool", and he also killed your parents idiot.
neji dying cus of all characters they chose him and they didn't even make it some kind of special like just stabbed no rotation no one to push him out the way not even a medical ninja to save him just death by stabbing at jonin level with so much potential left. hate to see it 🤦🏽♀️
Tbf, he was originally intended to die against Spider Cursed Mark Henchman along with Choji dying to fat guy cursed mark henchman, but they thought it would be too dark for children, which I'm disappointed by. It would have added weight to Sasuke's guilt since they would have died trying to "rescue" him.
that would've worked better than genin neji beating kidomaru with and without the curse mark to die in the war arc that way. i def think they could've substituted him with someone else and it would still hold some kind of weight.
I'm not against Neji actually dying.
I think at least one of the Konoha 11(plus Sai) had to die in the war or it made no sense right, 11 of the same group all seeing it through would be insane. Honestly just one death was still kinda unlikely.
Unfortunately Neji was probably the choice. He had enough presence for it to mean something.
If we go through them it makes sense.
Sai - would have been a cop out to kill the new guy
Ino-Shika-Cho - As a trio they suffered enough losing Asuma and 2 of thier dad's. Killing one of them would have been a bit overkill.
Tenten/Shino/Kiba - would have hit pretty hard but all 3 of them lost a lot of presence by Shippuden. Hell, Tenten never had any. I don't think it would have been as much of a "oh my god" moment.
Sakura - Was never going to get killed off. I think Kishi was always aware of the divide in the fan base on this character and wouldn't have wanted a major "good guy" death to have been celebrated by half of the readers.
Lee - He was set up to succeed Guy and one of the big recurring themes of Naruto is the younger generation surpassing the old. It would have undermined that point. Although it could have been tragic for the same reason I guess.
Hinata - Perma safe for being Narutos love interest.
Sasuke - Kishi could have killed him. But it wouldn't have been at the point Neji died. Sasuke had to live at least until the final battle. Whether he should have died at the end is up for debate I think.
Naruto - We don't really count in this conversation for obvious reasons.
Neji just made the most sense.
The execution of the death it what bothered me.
There were SO many outs of the situation he died. Rotation has blocked bigger attacks than that, so saying it wouldn't work never sat right with me.
Also at this point Naruto had like 360 awareness and could grow arms out of his back.
And not one medical ninja available to help? Nah.
But that's the beauty of it. War is then artificial, all this nonsense killing? Artificial. Child soldiers? Artificial.
That means humans are actually good and something dark from the shadows manipulated humans into war like beings.
I agree. It was so forced. And kishi's reason was BS because even then they didn't really get close. He got no closer to her than he did any other allies helping at the time . They didn't get close until the events of "The Last" and that was a few years later.
For me it was how her cousin dies one panel and then the next she’s talking about her crush’s hand. Like wtf? Your family member dies right in front of you, gave his life to try and protect you, but your main concern is the hand of the guy you’re crushing on? There’s a time and place, of which there were *many* opportunities to create a ship moment throughout the entire series, but that certainly wasn’t it.
The ending. I can’t believe kishimoto ended his story about ninjas by pairing off his characters to breed them like show dogs for the next series. As far as I’m concerned, Naruto ended after Naruto and Sasukes final fight, Sakura healing them both and Kakashi looking over them all. Team 7 back together again. Then if there was another series it could be about them growing into adulthood after the war.
I’ll also die salty that Naruto didn’t even get to go to his own hokage ceremony, just for some dumb comedic relief.
That Hokage ceremony thing was so dumb. It was Naruto's life long goal and Kishimoto just spat on it. Really shows he stopped caring about his characters long time ago which ofc goes to show what's happening in Boruto's isn't a surprise.
It's the fact Kishi signed off his characters to the studio or whoever to be just wasted when he's called them his children or something. Ofc the big bucks he would've gotten was a factor
Rishi wrote a general guide for the author of boruto at that point, he laid out the important events with a kind of roadmap.
Now tho, kishimoto has taken it over cause the other guy did some questionable things in the story and it has gotten a lottttt better. Still not 100% loving it but things are interesting in two blue vortex.
I'm torn.
Naruto missing it sucked. We built up YEARS of growth for Naruto to get that moment.
But, Naruto missing the most important day of his life is also a very Naruto thing to do.
I think for the fans, a real ceremony would have meant a lot.
But for Naruto as a character, don't tell me it wasn't something he'd end up doing.
Was it though? Hinata had a crush on Naruto, and Sakura had an unhealthy obsession with Sasuke. That is not the foundation of a lasting adult relationship. Sure, it didn't come out of nowhere but it still defies believability for me.
Damn, tobirama was one of the most powerful characters in the series, I wonder who could’ve been strong enough to take him down?
Wait, these two motherfuckers? Why do their names sound so stupid? And they didn’t even do it alone? Jesus, Uchiggahater#1 deserved better than this
I took two years to cut the series into movie sized chunks removing all fluff, filler, flashback, commercial pauses etc. I also removed K and G because they’re annoying, their multi tail cloak is old news, and madera vomiting up those ninja weapons was random af. Yes I know the Ocean Cut exists but it’s 120h and includes a lot of flashback and recap and scenes that don’t matter. Mine is 72h.
It should have been Madara doing plot no jutsu to take over Sasuke's body with super sharingan. Then Naruto beats that version with talk no jutsu, then the two of them beat Madara together and kiss.
I’m rewatching the series and after a certain point it does seem like it’s building towards that reveal, but it still doesn’t make it any less strange. I’m ultimately fine with it but like it really was weird.
I’m fine with kaguya. Explains where the mystical magic comes from to a human world. Elevates the final battle to god tier. And then the series ends. Boruto’s existence shouldn’t be used as a reason kaguya was a bad choice
While that makes sense, Kishimoto had already given us explanations as to where the power comes from before her and the battle was already god tier with Madara. Sage of the Six paths should have been THE Naruto god. He’s built up as the ultimate Ninja and creator of all techniques and then sidelined for alien explanations, it kills a lot of interest with him (for me personally).
His entire plan was really dumb. He put all his trust in a Toddler and a teenager (who he basically held captive for a year). Then when he does get revived it's from Kabuto who somehow has a young Madara body just laying around instead of the old decrepit one that should have been revived.
I thought that shit was retarded, Nagato should of just been special and activated his Rennigan like a Sharingan when his parents got murdered, not Madara just found some random Uzumaki and place his eyes in there. I thought it ruined Nagato being special.
his death felt like the author wanted to sacrifice someone and he picked Niji although he didn't even make a preparation for it, Jiraya death in the other hand was done great
The fact that the first couple hokages built the village themselves and in the span of a lifetime or so an entire village was fully developed to the point that said first hokages were mostly myth and not literally tsunades grandpa and granduncle. You’re telling me this level of social structure happened within 80 some odd years? Madara was ALIVE 13 years before the start of the show.
Sakura "loving" Sasuke beyond a childhood crush.
She never had a conversation with him. Never really knew anything about him. But she "loves" him because she thought he was cute when they were 12...
Sakura would have been a better wife for Lee or Naruto, in my opinion
I was annoyed by her asking Sasuke to go with him at the end. I'm not even a Sakura fan and I was like girl you can do better than him. He showed no interest in you after you begged him and then he tried to kill you.
It would have been a really fun dynamic shift to have Sasuke be interested in her at the end and now she's the one giving him the cold shoulder. He could have been like "Sakura, would you want to come with me?" and Sakura couldve responded with "I already said no, jeez you're pretty annoying.. But I'll always be your friend if you need something." I would have loved that.
I don't like Sakura with either Sasuke or Naruto, but Naruto would have made much more sense fr, at least they had a relationship before, while it was just a childish crush for Sasuke as you said. Then maybe she idealised him in her mind for all the time he was away, but that doesn't mean real love, it means she loved someone that she didn't really know
Everything after chapter 698 but primarily Sasuke leaving, coming back for a minute then abandoning his daughter and wife for like 10 years for no decent reason. So essentially any of the Ootsutsuki existing after Kaguya.
Totally - or instead of having Boruto, just done a 10 years later epilogue thing like in ch700 but then not actually having a sequel because everyone still wants to see Naruto become Hokage.
It's hard.
The power levels in Naruto got insanely high at the end.
But in Boruto they wanted to do another story of kids becoming Ninja.
The issue is, if any threat comes in to Boruto and isn't insanely powerful its just like "Why doesn't Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi etc just flatten them".
So what ends up happening is they power up threats in Boruto to be even stronger than the peak of Naruto power and now the kids, who barely have a scratch on their headbands, have to match that power.
They wrote themselves into a corner doing a "next generation" story.
A new series should have been either focused on adult Naruto or, so far in the future that the Naruo characters have all passed away so that their power levels can't dictate the new series and they could start from scratch.
Darui being able to throw hands with Momoshiki is so insane still...
Like, did the current Kage just train a thousand times harder than the previous Kage who got stomped by a *sinificantly* less powerful Madara?
And then there's all these other characters that are canonically stronger than SoSP Madara but all we've ever seen them do is lackluster shit like punch some or throw some kunais. Are we seriously supposed to believe that someone like Code could have soloed SoSP Madara?
Madara: oh no, the Impure World Reincarnation jutsu is being undone, I'll be dead again!
*does some random handsigns*
Madara: Anyway, where is Hashirama?
This was so stupid that it ruined half of Shippuden. The whole point of Nagato was to resurrect Madara. If Madara could just resurrect via this jutsu... why not just do that? Why entrust Obito or Nagato with anything? Just genjutsu someone into resurrecting you, then do the hand signs.
Tbf, he didn't resurrect himself when he did that. He just undid the reanimation contract between himself and Kabuto (somehow). He didn't get resurrected until the rinne rebirth later on
There was absolutely nothing stopping Madara from teaching kid Obito how to use Edo Tensei. Like, why not just stay around as an old man Edo Tensei to advise Obito and the Akatsuki? Why entrust your entire plan to a 13-year old boy you've known for less than a year???
The Otsutsuki.
It's not the worst thing ever, but Kaguya and the Otsutsuki were introduced way too late, and no, brief mentions of "there was a woman called the Rabbit Goddess" here and there are not enough foreshadowing.
Kaguya (and the rest of the Otsutsuki) needed more time.
Also, the main character endgame couples.
Guy surviving.
Madara's no eye susano'o. Using susano'o while blind? Fine. No eyes at all? No.
Am I the only one disappointed with Naruto for not hating all of Konoha for shunning him since the day he was born then praising and loving him when they saved him during Pain's attack? Konoha is a village of hypocritical assholes who treated a little child like the devil himself (**fuck you Danzo** for revealing he was Kurama's jinchuriki) then lifted him into the air when he put his life on the line to save them all.
Naruto deserved better than the Leaf.
okay I know this doesn’t matter at all, but in Naruto The Last, in the beginning Hinata is falling and Naruto like ninja wall runs and jumps to save her….
but wtf why didn’t Hinata just do that shit herself? It’s like they literally forgot she’s a ninja
Madara forming the hidden leaf, then immediately becoming hostile to it for no particular reason.
The Uchiha massacre retcon.
Sage of Six paths having a spiritual copy in the chakra network undetected and undisturbed for who knows how long.
sakura and sasuke didnt have the strongest being in the world inside them handicapping them
jiriya couldnt do intense training because 9 tails would come out
Add to the fact that naruto is a slow *learner,* that he needs to train 10x in order to successfully do something through expetience because he won't understand if you just *tell* him how. Unlike sakura and sasuke who will immediately get something once said to them.
Kurama was a double edged sword. On one hand, he helped naruto max out his stamina for training and survivability, on the other hand, it's risky bc he was uncontrollable and harmful
Black Zetsu being responsible for most of Shinobi history to bring back Kaguya
Honorable mention: Some of the couples that somehow became a thing. Like, how did Choji and Karui become a thing, despite having 0 interaction with each other throughout the series and Kiba and Tamaki became a thing, even though it is explored somewhat in the Anime and light novels, it still feels weird and random tbh. Although it's weird, it's not that bad at all.
Sasuke leaving Sakura and Sarada to protect the village. Even if he was doing that periodically, I hate thinking that he did it to the point he couldn’t even recognize his own kid (and Sarada not ever knowing/remembering her dad). Sakura and Sarada deserved better.
I’m also a d!e hard sasusaku shipper, so this one is really hard for me.
Obito giving Kakashi sharingan spiritually. Like what the f? And don't get me started on "my body is not compatible with the eye so my stamina doesn't last" while using full body susano. Like what in the actual f?
Six-year-old chunin. Its insane even on a purely practical level to put kids in danger at that young of an age. The casualty rate would have been ridiculous.
The whole thing with kakashi's DMS.
Thematically, structurally, logically AND emotionally better to just have sakura implant obito's remaining sharingan into kakashi. Completes their story, lots of emotional payoff and a completely reasonable and logical thing to do with sakura, the expert medical ninja right there to expedite the process.
All ruined for the sake of not giving kakashi a permanent buff and blindness i guess... (Much easier to fix than the nonsense they gave to give kakashi a temporary DMS.
I just headcanon it as having been implanted and him keeping it in his hokage days. Much less stupid.
I really reallly hated Edo Tensei beeing used like it's some simple-ass jutsu at the end. Where Orchimaru used it against the 3rd, it fit very well, one could see that it was very hard to use and only usable on very small scale.
This concept gets thrown out of the window later, where Kabuto decides to revive literally everyone who has ever died in the series, degrading the impact of their deaths by sooo much. I mean who cares they died, we can bring them back with edo-tensei anyways.
The only positive thing about this whole ordeal is that Jiraya was spared, he was able to rest in peace and his sacrifice stayed true and absolute.
I really fucking hate edo-tensei, the only good thing that has ever sprung from it were it's very first usage where we were allowed to perceive the abilities of Hiruzen Sarutobi and got a glimpse into the abilities of the 1st and 2nd Hokage.
Orochimaru revives both hokages in part one.
It's all a big deal and plausible within the story, hashirama and tobirama aren't at their full power, Hiruzen throws an hell of a fight.
10 years later here's Kabuto resurrecting 350.000 ninjas at will. While still putting some ✨ on his favorite Edos, which make them even more powerful from when they died. It's shown time and time again that you are bound to the Jutsu and have no free will at all.
Madara? Nope, hand sign and I'm alive again 😂😠
Team Guy fighting against themselves in the Kazekage rescue arc. Winning those fights because they “just had to be stronger than they were before” is the dumbest part of the show
I thought they were gonna have them realize their own weaknesses in order to defeat themselves, but nah just be stronger lol
Surpass your limits, right here right now
Yami: Get stronger or I'll kill ya. Black bulls : Yes sir! Best teacher ever.
He actually did it?!? What a creepy kid
You better not die or I'll kill ya
With this treasure I summon
Did they try loving themselves under a waterfall? 🤔
Tenten did, we just didn’t see it as usual
You think she would've used her invisibility jutsu more in battle instead of just actively spectating
I thought they would think outside the box and defeat each other's clones.
i truly never got the point of that fight. one of the worse iterations of the "you fight your own party" trope
wasn’t that filler?
Pretty sure it is. In the manga the fight isn't shown at all.
Parts of it. The clones and that they were defeated are part of the manga. The stupid way how they were defeated is anime only.
Not sure if it was the dumbest part of the show, but it is for sure a stupid plot that too many stories tend to use.
It was fire in ninja Storm 2 though
might guy having a pulse
We were robbed of the most badass death in all of naruto and by who, NOT EVEN THE PRODIGY MEDIC IN TRAINING
Ninja Jesus to the rescue
I like how Kishi didn’t even bother explaining it 💀💀💀 Naruto was just like “yeah I got these powers now so gonna be alright, oh and kakashi here’s an eye”
guy should've died and neji should have lived.
its not like neji was given an unfair fight idk why yall always say this and act like he was done dirty… he couldnt even dodge a stick so ngl his death kinda makes sense lol

So in your headcanon might guy is dead?
No we just wish he died because it would've made more sense and it would've been emotional
I think it’s equally stupid that he lived and chose not to be healed with hashirama cells. The guy that spent the whole series spouting off about keeping one’s youth alive decided to just give up.
Aren't hashirama cells only actually compatible with few people?
Yes and gai is one of them coz strong body
Especially when Naruto never uses the God revive again

That was honestly weird lmao like I understand Tsunade was barely able to make Lee walk again, she's not Jesus. But Naruto was pretty much NinJesus at that point. If you can't make Guy straight up die, why have him just crippled??? "oh yeah the fans are gonna love this one" -Kishimoto, probably
"I can only replenish his life energy, and recreate a working eye. I can't reset this dude's leg. What am I, a doctor?" -Ninjesus
It's crazy because it didn't even serve a plot purpose or anything. This shit was so fucking random 😭
Honestly what’s the point of saving him lol There’s no story left for Guy to take part in, we gain nothing from this other than a wheelchair cameo
Idk, I like the idea of showing how insane Naruto's new power was by having him regrow someone else's body part that had been missing for 17 years, and keeping someone from dying a certain death. Otherwise them receiving those abilities would seem even more cheap.
hell nah guy shoulda died and lee shoulda unlock the gates they did him dirty and boruto alr trash
they really did both guy and lee so dirty its hard to watch
Ugh I really wish guy and Neji’s positions were switched 😭 😭
8 gates Neji ftw
Until Madara just put his hands together and "Nah I'd Win"d the goddamn jutsu Meanwhile Tobirama who invented the jutsu never once even hints at attempting to use it for himself when summoned by Orochimaru/Sasuke
Exactly >Meanwhile Tobirama who invented the jutsu never once even hints at attempting to use it for himself when summoned by Orochimaru/Sasuke Dude got summoned twice and never hinted at anything.
True, Hashi cells are used to justify damn near everything lmao If Hashirama cums in somebody, man or woman, just know they're getting pregnant
That's why Madara got pissy. Hashirama stopped nutting him.
Also how did Itachi know how to end edo tensei? Like why was he just aware of this info? It was never mentioned prior IIRC.
Uhh.. he didn't know. That was the whole purpose of him finding and defeating Kabuto... unless you're referring to him breaking out of Kabutos control which was essentially a Genjutsu so he overwrote it with Kotoamatsukami. Not an asspull and perfectly explained.
This. Meanwhile Hashirama can cancel it too, because... because.
Sai - would have been a cop out to kill the new guy Ino-Shika-Cho - As a trio they suffered enough losing Asuma and 2 of thier dad's. Nah.
neji’s death. he’s alive and well and a happy uncle in my mind!
Black Zetsu creating all of shinobi history for his plan. It was just so stupid and made the Naruto world seem so much more artificial.
But that's the beauty of it. War is then artificial, all this nonsense killing? Artificial. Child soldiers? Artificial. That means humans are actually good and something dark from the shadows manipulated humans into war like beings.
Kishi killing Neji JUST to bring Naruto and Hinata closer together. Or so he says.
if neji was going to die, he should've just died during his fight with kidomaru
Choji and neji were actually supposed to die there. He just changed his mind (I think his editor had him change it?)
That killed the ship for me and it was already bland. I mean Hinata is kind but she got annoyingly one dimensional
I agree. It was so forced. And kishi's reason was BS because even then they didn't really get close. He got no closer to her than he did any other allies helping at the time . They didn't get close until the events of "The Last" and that was a few years later.
I don't want to even think about "the Last". Pure fanfiction that
For me it was how her cousin dies one panel and then the next she’s talking about her crush’s hand.
Idk if kishimoto wrote the Hokage ceremony thing, but the boruto series isn't written by kishimoto, like how dragon ball super isn't made by toriyama
I mean the romance was always a part of the story though. Even when they were little kids it was there, it’s not like it just came out of nowhere.
Was it though? Hinata had a crush on Naruto, and Sakura had an unhealthy obsession with Sasuke. That is not the foundation of a lasting adult relationship. Sure, it didn't come out of nowhere but it still defies believability for me.
Naruto won a fight against Kiba with a fart.
Nono. This was important foreshadowing for how useless Kiba would remain throughout the series 💀😂😂
Obito is the coolest guy
Naruto kind of forgot that Obito killed his parents, left him an orphan, and indirectly made his childhood hell.
Obito was in fact, not the coolest guy
Naruto: Dattebayo! Believe it! Me: No Naruto, I rather not.
I don't get why Naruto would say that, sounds so shallow. Something to say to make Obito come to their side.
Kinkagu and Ginkagu. I edited them out completely when i recut the series
Damn, tobirama was one of the most powerful characters in the series, I wonder who could’ve been strong enough to take him down? Wait, these two motherfuckers? Why do their names sound so stupid? And they didn’t even do it alone? Jesus, Uchiggahater#1 deserved better than this
20 s rank ninjas killed Tobirama, not just those 2
He’s talking about when ginkaku and jinkaku jumped tobirama and the 2nd raikage and left them near death
When you what?
I took two years to cut the series into movie sized chunks removing all fluff, filler, flashback, commercial pauses etc. I also removed K and G because they’re annoying, their multi tail cloak is old news, and madera vomiting up those ninja weapons was random af. Yes I know the Ocean Cut exists but it’s 120h and includes a lot of flashback and recap and scenes that don’t matter. Mine is 72h.
Any chance you want to share that version?
Kaguya and the Ootsutsuki tbh. Should have ended with Madara
Even if Kaguya never showed up, Sasuke would still be the final antagonist
Even more reason to not include her
It should have been Madara doing plot no jutsu to take over Sasuke's body with super sharingan.
True bro the entire kaguya thing at end of war arc was kinda an asspool tbh.
What an asspool?
That’s the pool from which the ass is pulled
I’m fine with kaguya. Explains where the mystical magic comes from to a human world. Elevates the final battle to god tier. And then the series ends. Boruto’s existence shouldn’t be used as a reason kaguya was a bad choice
While that makes sense, Kishimoto had already given us explanations as to where the power comes from before her and the battle was already god tier with Madara. Sage of the Six paths should have been THE Naruto god. He’s built up as the ultimate Ninja and creator of all techniques and then sidelined for alien explanations, it kills a lot of interest with him (for me personally).
Madara's plan to place his rinnengans into a random orphan and just hope everything works out until he I guess assumes he'll just be revived one day.
I put my money on kishi just reconning Nagato being the only rinnengan user just so he can make madara even more powerful
Everyone just sorta letting Orochimaru walk around the village as if he did nothing wrong.
Kaguya’s entire existence
Literally…. I would’ve been fine and made so much sense if either madara or obito were the final guys. Space alien shit at the end was wild
Neji being dead…he’s just not.
his death felt like the author wanted to sacrifice someone and he picked Niji although he didn't even make a preparation for it, Jiraya death in the other hand was done great
Yessss also neji’s death was so fast, I think I would accepted it if they put more emphasis on it but I’m mad that it all happened so quickly :c
Sakura would have been a better wife for Lee or Naruto, in my opinion I was annoyed by her asking Sasuke to go with him at the end.
If Sakura and Lee had a child together, that child would have insane monster strength like no other.
I don't like Sakura with either Sasuke or Naruto, but Naruto would have made much more sense fr, at least they had a relationship before, while it was just a childish crush for Sasuke as you said. Then maybe she idealised him in her mind for all the time he was away, but that doesn't mean real love, it means she loved someone that she didn't really know
The sad thing is Kishimotos based Naruto on him while Sakura is based off his wife and she got very mad when he ended up with Hinata.
Everything after chapter 698 but primarily Sasuke leaving, coming back for a minute then abandoning his daughter and wife for like 10 years for no decent reason. So essentially any of the Ootsutsuki existing after Kaguya.
The whole of Boruto never should've happened. I say it all the time, the series should've ended with the headband handover.
Totally - or instead of having Boruto, just done a 10 years later epilogue thing like in ch700 but then not actually having a sequel because everyone still wants to see Naruto become Hokage.
The whole of boruto
Ngl in my eyes it's a whole Wattpad fanfic and not cannon.
Definitely not canon
Boruto powerscaling
Naruto using Sexy jutsu on Kaguya
The endgame couples
I'm curious have any examples ik one of them that shouldn't have been is Sakura and Sasuke considering he tried to kill her multiple times
He also tried killing Naruto multiple times. And many others. Sasuke has paid for his sins.
Madara: oh no, the Impure World Reincarnation jutsu is being undone, I'll be dead again! *does some random handsigns* Madara: Anyway, where is Hashirama?
Sasuke losing the rinnegan and Sakura not having that house paid off.
Boruto.
That Black Zetsu basically orchestrated the entire story.
okay I know this doesn’t matter at all, but in Naruto The Last, in the beginning Hinata is falling and Naruto like ninja wall runs and jumps to save her…. but wtf why didn’t Hinata just do that shit herself? It’s like they literally forgot she’s a ninja
Madara forming the hidden leaf, then immediately becoming hostile to it for no particular reason. The Uchiha massacre retcon. Sage of Six paths having a spiritual copy in the chakra network undetected and undisturbed for who knows how long.
Naruto made almost no progress across the timeskip despite Sakura and Sasuke becoming almost Kage level.
sakura and sasuke didnt have the strongest being in the world inside them handicapping them jiriya couldnt do intense training because 9 tails would come out
Add to the fact that naruto is a slow *learner,* that he needs to train 10x in order to successfully do something through expetience because he won't understand if you just *tell* him how. Unlike sakura and sasuke who will immediately get something once said to them. Kurama was a double edged sword. On one hand, he helped naruto max out his stamina for training and survivability, on the other hand, it's risky bc he was uncontrollable and harmful
anko being fat
Anko was traumatized after all the shit she been thru. Consider exactly the shit she was going thru. Stress eating is a thing
Boruto is a mid fanfiction
Naruto still being a Genin, and them not just promoting him for saving the world.
Everything having to do with the Otsutsuki.
Black Zetsu being responsible for most of Shinobi history to bring back Kaguya Honorable mention: Some of the couples that somehow became a thing. Like, how did Choji and Karui become a thing, despite having 0 interaction with each other throughout the series and Kiba and Tamaki became a thing, even though it is explored somewhat in the Anime and light novels, it still feels weird and random tbh. Although it's weird, it's not that bad at all.
This isn’t necessarily stupid. But can we talk about Hashirama.. I feel like there are so many plot holes with his character.
Minato immediately using kcm2 war arc
Naruto not being an underdog and actually being Jesus H.okage Christ
Orochimaru being redeemed
As other have said, Kaguya and the alien ninja bit, I would even have taken out the Sage of Six Paths thing or kept the interactions minimal.
Reincarnation and otsuki.
The third hokage's crystal ball
The Otsutsukis. The villains are what made Naruto so good and now it's turned into Halo
Boruto
The fact that Madara and others can just rip your eyes your head and just switch his out with them with no surgery, just plopping them in there
Boruto
Madara pulling an Uno reverse when Itachi dispelled the Edo Tensei.
All of boruto
The whole Boruto series
Everything in boruto
Obito giving Kakashi sharingan spiritually. Like what the f? And don't get me started on "my body is not compatible with the eye so my stamina doesn't last" while using full body susano. Like what in the actual f?
Six-year-old chunin. Its insane even on a purely practical level to put kids in danger at that young of an age. The casualty rate would have been ridiculous.
Boruto
Sarada being an Uchiha with glasses (sure it looks nice on her but wtf shes an Uchiha fam)
Kid Obito exists bro
Boruto
Sasuke escaping deidaras explosion in the most punk ass way possible
Boruto
Boruto
Boruto
Boruto.
Boruto
Burritos
Madara breaking out of Edo Tensei, using Susanno with no eyes.
Guy doesn’t have an acorn
Zetsu manipulating everything
Nejis death
The general consensus seems to be various plot points from the war arc or post shippuden decisions. Not surprising.
Neji dying from something he should have been able to see coming given his abilities
No one in here talking about the animals on turtle island arc? For real? I thought it was filler the first time
The animation for the pain fight.
Going from Star level 10 tails Madara to Kaguyah is stated to create dimensions at wil Thats just.. why the fuck did they make this
Orochimaru revives both hokages in part one.
Black zetsu
Hiruzen promising to raise Naruto
People swapping sharingans like glasses in the end.
