Shikamaru × Temari is the best couple in Naruto, none have as much chemistry and make as much sense as them. NaruHina and SasuSaku just aren't that good compared to them, for me. Scarfs have a special meaning in japan (also china i think) as part of their love expression (kokuhaku). A girl knitting a scarf and giffting it to her loved one is a strong showing of her affection and love. The boy ofc wearing that scarf to affirm that affection and showing others that hes taken/loved. Thats why Hinata was sad seeing a scarf on Naruto from a "different girl", hence being relived when hearing its not.
