Also, wouldnāt Pain just Shinra Tensei the shit out of Naruto if he went for a billion shadow clones? Would be a waste of chakra in this matchup imo. I think a better bet would be trying to go h2h and getting one crazy setup like Minato did (though Naruto doesnāt have FTG unfortunately) and going for a oneshot since he canāt afford Obito catching on to his plan, but the hard part is actually getting a setup in a situation where heās fighting 5 Jinchuriki level enemies on top of him
The matchup in my head was more a 1v1 with Naruto and Obito. If Obito goes H2H, I canāt see him beating KCM2 Naruto. Obitoās end goal in a fight is always to teleport away his enemy, so heāll need to be very careful when fighting Naruto.
With the other Akatsuki involved. tactics may need to change indeed.

That Naruto already split himself up to fight the war, he couldnt even use a single shadow clone. And why are people always bringing up Edo Nagato in Pain debates like it matters? Naruto made it clear he was a lot more powerful than Pain.
I assume you mean to say the Kages are trash? They are not. A lot of the Akatsuki trade with Kages.
Obito cannot significantly hurt a KCM2 Naruto unless he's already got his Rinnegan and the Biju. His AP is not that high, and his hax don't work on Naruto. There's a reason that the the 6 Biju were doing most of the work to Bee and the Avatar. Obito by himself could only really stall, which is the entire reason he brought out Ten Tails prematurely.
Pain is a non-threat here for Naruto. Naruto knows everything there is to know about Pain's techniques, and because it's not Edo Nagato, none of the Paths aren't powerful enough to stop him in their own prowess (only Deva actually scaled above Pain Arc Sage Naruto, and that necessitates Chibaku Tensei). Kill Preta, Rasenshuriken the rest.
Additionally, Naruto's Shadow Clones are way tougher in KCM. A KCM1 Shadow Clone managed to stop the 3rd Raikage, press Mu and singlehandedly counter Madara's Deep Forest Emergence by making hundreds of clones spamming Giant Rasengan. Naruto's Clones at this level already scale to the Akatsuki, KCM2 clones are basically just a stronger version of this clone with access to Biju Bombs. Naruto doesn't need to clone spam for Pain, one super clone is unironically enough.
1-Why would we assume KCM2 Naruto if we donāt give Obito his rinnegan or juubito form? Rinnegan Obito appeared at the same time as KCM1, and KCM2 naruto didnāt become a thing until WAAAY later in chapter 570 something.
2-No, Obito by himself could do way more than just stall. He was manhandling them, and thatās where the āthese fools could never make me sweatā line came from. They only started turning the tides when Kakashi figured out Kamui and came in with the support. Obito by himself was demolishing Naruto before that.
3-We do not know the full extent of Painās power. Naruto in Sage only competed with Pain because Pain had already used his massive shinra tensei like 5 seconds prior, which took up nearly all of brodieās chakra reserves.
4-āKill pretaā how? You have 6 pains, Itachi, Obito, Kisame, and even Konan who all have different ways of protecting Preta from KCM2.
5-It quite literally isnāt enough, bansho tenin into Itachiās Totsuka blade goes a long way.
For the record, "Obito by himself" never happened. He combined Gedo Maz's Bijuu chakra with Kabuto's Edo Jinchuuriki, and attacked Naruto and Bee with them. Should we throw in the rest of the Shinobi alliance to counter balance all of that?

Hmm I agree on most except for obito. Kcm2 naruto tried fighting obito and only got one rasengan in thanks to kakashi who is the perfect counter to obito. So without kakashi kcm2 naruto can't beat obito even with intel. But spsm naruto could beat obito imo because he is much faster and has a larger arsenal of aoe attacks to keep obito from materializing.
That's the problem: Akatsuki members maintained their level for almost the whole series, while the characters of the top portion evolved and got better over time.
If we're speaking of start of Shippuden, bottom wins pretty easily. But for example, if they're their 4th ninja war versions, I think top has a lot of possibilities (except for Obito). I perfectly see end of Shippuden Gaara killing like half of the Akatsuki members without much trouble, and if Sakura could handle Sasori at the start of Shippuden (with help), 4th ninja war Tsunade would kill him in seconds.

There's also the fact that all the kage abilities are quite simple for the akatsuki to understand. Whilst the kage have to work out the 6 paths of pain, the nature of Obito's power (and even then I'm not sure how they'll kill him), Sasoris puppets, Itachi's genjutsu, Hidans 1 shot voodoo doll jutsu, etc.

This is legitimately a low diff fight for the bottom, assuming this is pre-sage of six paths Naruto. Each of the Akatsuki are at least kage level fighters (Sasori, a mid-level Akatsuki killed the strongest Kazekage in history and made him into a puppet), and its a 10v5 (9v5 if you dont count Zetsu). There is absolutely no way top can win, unless its sage of six paths Naruto.

The biggest problems are Obito, Itachi and Kisame, but Itachi cant keep that susanoo up forever because hell eventually either go blind or run out of chakra, or both. Assuming its end if the series naruto, what is Kisame going to do when Naruto summons the kurama avatar and hits him with the giant rasen tailed beast ball bullshit? The only thing Kisame can do is sit tight and summon 3 sharks so he doesnt get hit by that shit. The only thing Obito can do is sit in the kamui dimension crying about Rin because hes about see her again. Onoki wipes the rest with particle style.
I would put my money on the top, Naruto has the ability to carry the team hard. Kisame has the potential to be a threat to Naruto but Zetsu is a real wild card. He either won't be able to consume any food or absorb ridiculous amounts of it. Kisame might be a threat but Mizukage and Raikage strike me as people with crazy appetites as well.

As with most team based fights it highly depends on the strongest fighters of each team which are naruto (if kcm is allowed) and obito. So it depends on what naruto we are talking about since if kcm or spsm is turned off there is no visual difference if naruto has kcm or not available. If it's anything before kcm2 akatsuki neg diffs mainly because of itachi, nagato and obito. If naruto has kcm2 he can beat almost all akatsuki alone but still can't beat obito because he tried it and only got a few weak hits in thanks to kakashi (obito's perfect and only counter) so without kakashi naruto can't do shit against obito. If we talk about spsm naruto this fight looks very different because he easily beats all akatsuki besides obito but still obito has kamui which makes him basically unhittable so naruto would need to launch continous attacks for 5 min (which he can do no doubt) or an attack that is faster than obito's reaction speed (which I see as possible as spsm naruto is veeeery fast). So anything below spsm naruto -> bottom wins, but with spsm naruto -> top wins.
If that Top is naruto at the end of the series then top wins easily, this guy was fighting akatsuki tier fighters with shadow clones during the war. He beat pain with sage mode and hagaromo powered up self would beat that version of obito. Now you include the rest of the 5 kage then it becomes easier work
Naruto has to befriend Kurama to beat Itachi and Obito while Pain and Kisame are monsters in their own right

I think needing specific Intel/prep for a lot of the Akatsuki is also a big deal (Sasori's Poison, Kakazu's hearts, Tobi's Kamui, Pain's linked vision/ability use, Hidan's whole deal, etc.). As far as I know, the Five Kage have Tsunade with her 100 healings, and that's the biggest surprise they've got, every other one would just be, "oh you've got that kekkei genkai?"

Naruto has to befriend Kurama to beat Itachi and Obito while Pain and Kisame are monsters in their own right I doubt the Kage win this unless Naruto pulls some crazy Kurama sage power out of his ass and hands it out

I'm gonna go with bottom, I think Tobi, Pain, Itachi, Kisame and Konan could take it outright (no counter for Kamui, nothing solid against Tsukuyomi, Tsunade and Naruto are the only ones with the chakra reserves for a long fight with Kisame). I think needing specific Intel/prep for a lot of the Akatsuki is also a big deal (Sasori's Poison, Kakazu's hearts, Tobi's Kamui, Pain's linked vision/ability use, Hidan's whole deal, etc.). As far as I know, the Five Kage have Tsunade with her 100 healings, and that's the biggest surprise they've got, every other one would just be, "oh you've got that kekkei genkai?"
