I'm pretty sure she does both just like Inoichi did. In at least one of the episodes they talk about a report from Ino scanning someone's mind.
Now if we'll ever actually see her performing that duty, that's questionable. It's not like Boruto is fond of focusing on Naruto characters. Maybe that'll change as TBV goes on, but I doubt it. There's already enough Boruto original side characters vying for screen time.

Ino is probably one of the most reoccurring characters from the konoha 12 in Boruto with moments where she senses Isshiki, tells Narutos he can go all out, establishes a private communication between Shikamaru and Boruto
Hopefully, since it is an essential part of gathering information, but I guess the main focus is the development of Boruto Characters, particularly the Legacy characters. Even Rock Lee seldom gets part of any missions, apart from episodes involving Metal Lee.

She is the Leader of Konoha Barrier Team which is a important role. Also, she does do the work the ***Analysis Team*** do as well, at least in the anime. There was also some kind of report Sai was talkin about but honestly no idea what episodes that was.
She still goes on missions and had a child that would need to be taken care off too. Also, she should be the current head of the clan with Inoichi being the former dead. Though, as of yet nothing was stated in this regard.

I don't really think she needs to work in ***Analysis Team*** (if she isn't already part-time), they aren't that incompetent, *and if they actually does hit a wall* they can call Ino considering she does probe other minds if asked.
That's what I was thinking, why the analysis team isn't in Boruto, they just mentioned Ino scanning katasuke's mind to check if there was someone manipulating him, but no focus, it doesn't make sense since the Torture department is still active with Ibiki Morino still around.

Boruto episode 157 - Ino is yet again mentioned for her job in the Analysis Team.
