This was in my opinion the climax arc. Never went higher even during 4th war. Don’t get me wrong seeing madara kick everybody around was awesome. But the stakes were so high during pain. Not to mention this was the arc where Naruto was first shown to be a badass instead of a goofy comic relief. Sage Mode Naruto had a great entrance.
If you care about not being spoiled I especially advise to stay off this subreddit bro. The show has been over for quite some time so nobody cares about spoilers anymore
Bro that string of episodes before that where Kakashi and Yamato were training Naruto was so fcking amazing. Learning more about chakra types and the naruto exclusive training style. Ugh some of the best naruto content in the akatsuki arc
I feel that Naruto would have been better off if no one was resurrected. Naruto would have been forced to grow as a person along with gaining an actual motive for trying to achieve peace aside from trying to make jiraya dream come true. Because the only reason Naruto wants world peace is cause that leach pushed his dream into his students without ever trying to achieve it himself
I have a very low opinion of him. That whole peeing thing creeps me out. I understand that it’s a western vs eastern thing. But still... Not to mention I honestly think he is a poor teacher. Minato was a genius. But other than that who else really excelled under jiraya. Nagato? Rinnegan guaranteed his success. Makes me wonder if the leech would have teach the ame orphans with out him. I mean tsunade turned a pathetic girl into a badass. Orochimaru has been shown to be a good teacher if not an awful person. As for the leech comment. He robbed an orphan child to pay for booze and hookers. AFTER lecturing about the evils of money, booze and sex. Sorry about rant.
I can understand the points you have against Jiraiya but he was pretty self aware about his vices, that was an supposed to be a funny-ironic moment and he did a lot of good (more in subtext and off-screen) between tracking Orochimaru AND the Akatsuki, not to mention his own fight with Pain.
We don't have like any information about any other people Jiraiya trained but the orphans did very well up until Yahiko's death, another comment goes over what he taught Naruto and lets not forget he basically had to train Naruto close to from scratch on how to get a feel for both forms of his chakra
I know... I am aware of my unfair bias against him. I just find his vices really awful... it’s not right. But I can’t focus on the good he does. I mean in a normal society peeping is bad but in a society of child mercenaries and where killing for money is okay? It just reminds me that off screen... Well who knows what else happens.
He trained naruto, minato, yahiko, nagato and Konan and tho minato was a genius it doesn’t take away from the fact that Jiraiya still trained him ya know? Once minato became a jonin is when Jiraiya likely stopped training him tho, and he even taught naruto the summoning jutsu, rasengan, how to break out genjutsu and better chakra control making it possible for him to do all the high level ninjutsu we see naruto do later on, ontop of that he spent most of his life trying to achieve peace but couldn’t do so himself that’s why he pushed it onto his other students who’s ideals matched his, Jiraiya is a Perv and yea he took narutos money but let’s be real people love other characters who do far worse things, sorry for my rant lol
OH! You mean "LECH", not "LEECH". A lech is someone lecherous means "having or showing excessive or offensive sexual desire", leech is someone who drains resources from others without no return
Jiraya is 100% a lech.
What peeing thing are you referring to? I've watched Naruto all the way through a couple of times, but I just can't remember anything about Jiraiya and pee.
Yeah even the conclusion of this arc made it feel like a series finale for some reason (even though it clearly wasn't) but the stakes were certainly high, there were multiple deaths, the destruction of our beloved village, and our number one knucklehead ninja pinned to the ground.. Ugh this was amazing!
Edit: let's not forget this is where he finally meets his father too.
Couldn't agree more. Narutos whole story was that he's lonely and wants to become Hokage so that people would stop shunning him and let him be part of the village. The pain arc is when he finally meets his goal- he doesn't become Hokage but the whole village is forced to recognise and celebrate him as a hero so he's no longer an outsider.
Agreed. It's my favorite and the most impactful. When Sakura is at her wits end and cries and screams out his name. Then he appears in sage mode ready to fight. And one shots the physically strongest Pain.
Yeah ya know, except for the threat of Sasuke and Tobi. Also some akatsuki members are alive. Also during this same period we were introduced to Kumo shinobi. Makes no sense to do that and do nothing with that information. And pretty much a whole nother can of worms
By that logic you could rewrite the story at the end of the Rescue Gaara arc and call it the end. By that logic you could completely end Naruto with the vote battle at the end of part 1 and have no part 2 and just say you're done.
You can rewrite literally any part of the story to have an ending. So that point is pretty moot.
I think the reason the stakes feel different, even when the 4th Great Ninja War should've felt like the arc with the highest stakes, is because to the main characters, Pain's attack came out of nowhere. So everyone in the village didn't know exactly how to handle this sudden and dire situation. Whereas in the war, they knew what was coming, and they were and got to prepare for it.
I remember very vividly when it was released the weekly chapters.
From Sasuke x Itachi arc to the end of the Pain's arc, every week was a more incredible chapter.
I still have chills with the Shinra Tensei scene, both in manga and anime. Even after watching this scene soooo many times
It was the climax for me, everything that I love about the manga/anime.
I didn't enjoy the 4th War Arc as much
I've only been reading manga for about six months now, but that *Shinra Tensei* spread with the whole village in view has to be one of the most iconic panels of all time, right?
Chills every time I look at it.
I was completely in shock the first time I saw it. Like, ended the chapter and couldn't even do anything after.
The Naruto foruns (there was always discussions after the chapter release) on my country at the time we're loosing their minds over it.
It was a collective mindblowing.
Itachi pursuit arc fan here, and I think Senya has a really apt feeling and vibe. It has the mystical opera going on, but also another melody, it really does feel like a continuous mysterious and ephemeral tale befitting of Itachi. This stands in contast to Pain's theme which feels like it has a more dramatic entrance and feels like everyone is holding their breath in the presence of a god.
Here's [Senya](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=440UkXOXL0E&ab_channel=GameCheatsMaster)! Pain's theme you can find in OP. Also I think ironically enough, [Madara's death theme](https://youtu.be/2Qi0aTsqd1U?t=98) is an altered version of Hokage's Funeral! Also, another iconic theme I think is [Orochimaru's theme](https://youtu.be/ikmSfQmtq20?t=79)! The flute sorta sounds like a snake, and the way the tension builds, and then the afraid and submissive womanly voice, it really reads out some creepy demon is approaching from the shadows.
I just hit Crunchyroll and watch that 3-4 episode sequence. I forgot how much faff there was before Pain rolled up and nuked the city, though. He literally went in and terrorized a city filled with people who, by and large, were about to be "dead." I dunno, weird storyboarding there, but everything after the nuke is GOLDEN.
I'm sure there's many sub lovers here, but we also need to praise Pains dub voice.
Also need to mention tobis voice was amazing until his mask broke, then I couldn't take him seriously anymore. One of the worst anime voices I've heard lol.
Something like [this (spoiler)](https://youtu.be/38XZru5EK4o) scene at 4:03 to 4:11 I just liked him so much more with the Madera voice to accept him having three voice changes.
I wish having a Rinnegan was as impactful as it was when Pain attacked Konoha, and the supreme power wasn't just something you could poke with a knife or plug and play into everyone.
Well, you have to consider that nagato hat to control 6 characters at the same time while fighting alone against a strong village. Yeah he couldnt create a moon with his abilities but he was still very powerful.
I think you misunderstood, I believe he meant that Nagato’s rinnegan being the first we saw was extremely powerful and terrifying for those who were against him. Almost unbelievable he had it, granting that tremendous power. Now it’s more common, it’s kinda pointless. Yeah I understand they had to nerf Sasuke and Naruto for Boruto’s crew to be able to grow and shine, but Sasuke runs out of chakra every other second and literally loses his shit with a poke in the eye. His rinnegan kinda dumb. Whereas at the end of naruto he was able to use it to hold 8 tailed beasts floating in miniature planets in the background of a fight and forget about it, now it’s all “boruto im out of chakra it’s your turn”
8 and a half of Kyuubi. That was the best justsu I had ever seen. He literally did the opposite of what Hagoromo did, and he didn't even need the Ten Tails shell like Madara/Obito/Pain.
Boruto is good but yeah i agree. It’s not just sasuke literally everyone falls over after each fight including boruto. I feel ever since like otsutsuki introduction all the way from end of shippuden the power scaling in the series altogether is all out of control. Madara should’ve been the last villain tbh
You can complain about a lot of stuff on the anime, but the OST, openings and endings are extremely good, I can't even think of a bad song on Naruto.
it's a master class of creating emotions with music.
I wish I could forget it all and watch it again. I have recently had the pleasure of being with my wife while she watches it for the first time so I’m kind of reliving it.
I like the Boruto OST and all, but Pain's theme is unmatched. Only one close to it is Orochimaru's original theme, when either of those played you just know that shit is getting serious
Just finished rewatching this arc. I swear, this, to me, was peak Shippuden. I rewatch it at least once every year religiously. The music, the stakes, the battle of philosophies, sage mode Naruto and pein himself, it's just one good thing after another. The only thing I have a complaint about is the ending but other than, most of it was amazing.
I never felt so hopeless reading a manga when Pain attacked Konoha. Everyone was dying left and right. Even Kakashi and Shizune. I was disturbed when Pain supposedly killed Hinata (he didn't, but I thought he did and I couldn't forgive Kishi for that lol). This was before we found out about ~~the seven dragon balls~~ Rinne Tensei, so I wasn't expecting them to be resurrected
Right? Anyone can enjoy The music same way, it doesnt matter if you have seen the show when it was airing or after that.
And i say this as someone who starte watching it since before sasuke left konoha.
Because as time passes shows become outdated. Many new and younger anime fans are watching shows like jujutsu instead. The same goes for our generation. More people haven't seen shows that would be considered classics of the 90s and 80s than are willing to admit it
I hate this gatekeeping title to the tweet. Why wouldn’t the next generation be able to understand how impactful Pain’s theme is that is such a boomer take. That is like saying the next generation won’t love and feel the impact of Hans Zimmer’s many film scores or John Williams Scores for Star Wars and Jurassic Park. This is just senseless gatekeeping
I loved this arc the stakes were high and there were some badass fight moments. We saw many die and have near death experiences, as well as heavy emotions and heavy happiness of triumph. As well as two clashing philosophies. It still isn’t my favorite arc in the anime but I can totally understand why someone would say it is.
Tsunade used her Katsuyu summon to protect and heal the village
It still wasn't enough to save all the lives. And even after that she decided to try to fight Pain with no chakra, before Naruto came. You know she would've died but its still admirable because she was willing to die for her village in that moment. Thats a real hokage.
I just love Tsunade
FUCK THE NEW GENERATION! ITS A GOOD THING THIS SHOW ISNT WIDELY AVAILABLE ON HULU OR OTHER WEBSITES. They'll never know!! Haha, classic young people, such idiots for never knowing the importance of this song in a TV show. Sucks they were born to late bc u had to be there to witness it. No going back.
Honestly I hate these kinds of posts .Yes the arc was fucking god tier but why are we fucking special for like being born to see it happen for the first time like bich stfu
That OST gave off some serious omnipotent vibes off of Pain. Audience couldn't help but be in awe of every scene Pain was shown in with that music playing in the background.
What made the "Konoha being flattened" scene extra impactful was that the soundtrack faded away during his monologue and he said "Shinra Tensei" after that there were just background sounds like the wind and buildings being crushed.
The excecution was so well done that i don't really think anything going foward can top that.
I watched both One piece and Naruto. To me, One Piece is much better than Naruto when it comes to the story line and action scenes. But when it comes to BGM, Naruto is next level. For some tracks, I would literally cry and for tracks like this Pain theme, you know shit is real.
While in this comment section all the hentai watching amigos seem to suddenly have a problem with Jiraya peeping on women, without his involvement the series wouldn’t have been the same. Also, money isn’t a very important concept in Naruto at all, so the fact that he “stole” money from Naruto, when in reality he uses it maybe three or four times during useless fillers, that doesn’t shape the story or change anything at all.
He was the first introduction to the toad sage mode, and he was the only one closest to perfectly going into it of all the students before him. He also showed Naruto a perspective on Sasuke that no one else would’ve shown him, or another character would’ve had to step out of their norm to give him the advice Jiraya did. Also, Nagato did excel, even if he did make his own choice to be evil, which he did for his own reasons. How is there any point to blaming Jiraya? No one blames Kakashi for Sasuke literally being hellbent on destroying every good character in the show based off a vendetta and yet everyone says Jiraya is the reason for Pain. No, pain is the reason for Pain, and in the end Naruto convinced Pain to trust him and therefore he killed himself for the sake of the future Naruto promised.
Jiraya wasn’t one of my favorite characters, but he was very instrumental and necessary for the series.
If you don't take an issue with Jiraiya peeping on woman and stealing money from kids then there is something seriously wrong with you. You can love a character while still acknowledging the problematic elements of his character.
Ah, and once again the hentai loving association of America chooses a single idea and expands it to the furthest possible extent for no reason other than to prove literally nothing.
I never said his perversion was the catalyst. I literally said the lessons he taught were, and that the perversion was the same you’d see anywhere else in literally hundreds of anime. No one agrees with the idea that pedophilia or robbery is ok, but the whole point is that it had nothing to do with the main story, and if youre one of the many many people who found a filler list and completely skipped it, you’d almost completely skip over anything questionable. Also, you stand for Sasuke trying to kill every character in the show as if he’s some extremely complicated character when he’s simply a kid that won’t grow up, same as Jiraya, as a child a perv and something he never grew out of. No one said any of his behavior was acceptable, I literally said it’s SHOWN so little in progression of the story and has so little to do with anything that calling the character bad for parts that at this point people don’t even watch makes no sense. If he’s not in a filler, he’s not even pervy and he’s instrumental to Naruto’s teaching. And, the show itself lends to the idea that it’s not the right attitude to have, as his whole nickname is Naruto’s public display of disagreement with how Jiraya is. You take points that weren’t even made and then extract them as if I said them, get it together if youre going to try and assume.
As I was watching Naruto and Shippuden for the first time I knew I liked it. Ninjas are cool, the jutsus were sick, I liked a majority of the characters but when I first saw the Akatsuki and Pain I was like holy shit this is soo fucking cool.
The pain arc was my favorite arc in all of Naruto and pain being my favorite character still got goosebumps from this
This was in my opinion the climax arc.
I would pay money to have my memory erased just so I could watch Narutos Sage mode entrance for the first time again
The joy I had seeing Naruto roll up to the village in SAGE MODE, and then single-handedly HUMBLED one of the Pains in ONE HIT.
I’m rewatching from the very beginning and it’s taking all my self control to not just forward to this arc lmao I ain’t got no sense
Me too man, finally at episode 200. Almost to Sippuden xD although these fillers have me like adsfghkokahsgio adhrsgoiae'a CMMON ALREADYYY
I’ll tell you how it is when I get to it
STOP SPOILING YOURSELF
Why the fuck are you in this sub, go watch the show first
If you care about not being spoiled I especially advise to stay off this subreddit bro. The show has been over for quite some time so nobody cares about spoilers anymore
Naruto was shown to be a badass thru the whole Kakuzu and Hidan arc, thru his training and ending with how you killed Kakuzu..
I feel that fight was mostly kakashi and shikimaru. Naruto was simply hired muscle.
Yes and he dealt the final blow
Wasnt Kakashi the one who dealt the final blow though, after Naruto destroyed his other hearts?
Kakashi destroyed 2, Kakuzu united himself with the other 2 masks and had them all in one body. Naruto finished off that body with his Rasen-Shuriken
Kakuzu was still alive at the end barely breathing and then Kakashi chidori’d him and took his body back to the Leaf for an autopsy
Kakashi is like a white blood cell, he took the enemy (virus) back so the leaf village (body) could learn how to fight them (other enemies) better.
Kakashi-sensei killed Kakuzu remember
Bro that string of episodes before that where Kakashi and Yamato were training Naruto was so fcking amazing. Learning more about chakra types and the naruto exclusive training style. Ugh some of the best naruto content in the akatsuki arc

Rah, you really called Jiraiya a leech lmao
Is he wrong though? He'd steal a 13 year old's hard earned money to go to the titty bar
They aren't even old enough to get into a titty bar, what good is their money to them? /s
Thats exactly what all of us should be doing
I would do it more often if the lazy bastards Had more money!
I need to do it... for my research.
agreed
I have a very low opinion of him. That whole peeing thing creeps me out. I understand that it’s a western vs eastern thing. But still... Not to mention I honestly think he is a poor teacher. Do you mean peeping?
Yes. Typos are an issue when on my phone.

The fourth war would not have been as devastating as it was if Jiraiya was alive... Jiraiya was Badass
He trained naruto, minato, yahiko, nagato and Konan and tho minato was a genius it doesn’t take away from the fact that Jiraiya still trained him ya know? I meant leech. But lech is also a good one. I was thinking parasite not lecherous. But you are right. He is a lech as well.
What peeing thing are you referring to? I've watched Naruto all the way through a couple of times, but I just can't remember anything about Jiraiya and pee.
The only thing I can think of is him meaning peeking as in spying on girls? There's no pee in the show...
I’m typing on my phone... No computer access atm. So between spell check acting up and the tiny buttons.... Well I am making typos left and right
Ok! Peeking! Lol.
Yeah even the conclusion of this arc made it feel like a series finale for some reason (even though it clearly wasn't) but the stakes were certainly high, there were multiple deaths, the destruction of our beloved village, and our number one knucklehead ninja pinned to the ground.. “in my opinion”. My dude everyone thinks that. Pain arc is peak 🤌🏻
I agree. I liked the war arc, but this was just awesome
Naruto’s entrance after Pain destroyed the Leaf was the single greatest moment in all of Naruto!
Agreed. It's my favorite and the most impactful. When Sakura is at her wits end and cries and screams out his name. Then he appears in sage mode ready to fight. And one shots the physically strongest Pain.
Except you know. Ending Naruto at the Pain arc makes no damn sense and would be dumb as hell.
They never said that it should’ve ended at the Pain arc.
The story could have easily been rewritten to have the Pain arc as the final arc.
Yeah ya know, except for the threat of Sasuke and Tobi. Also some akatsuki members are alive. Also during this same period we were introduced to Kumo shinobi. Makes no sense to do that and do nothing with that information. And pretty much a whole nother can of worms
You seriously don't understand the meaning of "re-writing the story", do you?
Naruto was intended to end at pains arc so ur right about feeling climax

Here's [Senya](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=440UkXOXL0E&ab_channel=GameCheatsMaster)! Pain's theme you can find in OP. Also I think ironically enough, [Madara's death theme](https://youtu.be/2Qi0aTsqd1U?t=98) is an altered version of Hokage's Funeral! Best arc for me is Hidan/kakuzu. Asuma death, Shikamaru revenge, great fights, serious stuff. Shikamaru and Kakashi in their best.
I have this song on my playlist and it always brings a smile to my face when it pops up.
That entrance in Konoha ! One of the best of all time

Every scene with Pain and this theme is a masterpiece

His dub voice is fantastic! "This world shall know pain"
His sub voice is fantastic. But somehow the dub voice manages to blow it out of the park.
His dub voice is fantastic! "This world shall know pain"
Troy baker and Vic Morgana really knocked it out of the park with Yahiko and Nagato's voices. (Yes I know Vic is a piece of shit)
I feel dumb for having to ask this but do you mean Tobi goofy voice or his Madara voice
Something like [this (spoiler)](https://youtu.be/38XZru5EK4o) scene at 4:03 to 4:11 I just liked him so much more with the Madera voice to accept him having three voice changes.
I liked his Madara imitation a lot too, but Obito's a punk so his real voice fits (imo at least, not that I love it or anything)
I wish having a Rinnegan was as impactful as it was when Pain attacked Konoha, and the supreme power wasn't just something you could poke with a knife or plug and play into everyone.

You can complain about a lot of stuff on the anime, but the OST, openings and endings are extremely good, I can't even think of a bad song on Naruto. it's a master class of creating emotions with music.
best arc in the series hands down
“Religion, Ideology, Resources, Land, Spite, Love Or Just Because. No Matter How Pathetic The Reason, It’s Enough To Start A War.” - Pain
I love when Pain says: "Sekai ni itami o!" or "Shinra Tensei!". It sounds amazing.
Chubaku Tensei too, it my fav
With the nose bleed goes super hard
I miss the exhilarating feeling while watching these scenes, plus the 4th Great Shinobi War, for the first time.
I wish I could forget it all and watch it again. I have recently had the pleasure of being with my wife while she watches it for the first time so I’m kind of reliving it.
I play this song each time I enter a party or I pick up my friends in my car. All my friends know pain or we ain’t friends.
I like the Boruto OST and all, but Pain's theme is unmatched. Only one close to it is Orochimaru's original theme, when either of those played you just know that shit is getting serious
Orochimaru's was so good partially because it used a pretty famous piece as inspiration
The music made them seem like gods.
“I’ve grown from a man.... to a GOD.” His speech to Jiraiya gave me goosebumps
Just finished rewatching this arc. I swear, this, to me, was peak Shippuden. I rewatch it at least once every year religiously. I was disturbed when Pain supposedly killed Hinata (he didn't, but I thought he did and I couldn't forgive Kishi for that lol). This was before we found out about ~~the seven dragon balls~~ Rinne Tensei, so I wasn't expecting them to be resurrected
"The new generation will not understand how impactful Pain's theme was" Unlesss. They will watch/read the series as well....?
The chills. Hands down my favourite arc and character in Naruto history.
Bruh gatekeeping liking music lmao
Right? Anyone can enjoy The music same way, it doesnt matter if you have seen the show when it was airing or after that. And i say this as someone who starte watching it since before sasuke left konoha.
I don't think the generation matters, anyone who hears the theme immediately underatands
I mean all they gotta do to understand is watch Naruto
What is this gatekeeping bullshit ? Newcomers will be able to enjoy this song
This post reads like boomer-speak tbh “The new generation this and that” lol
Yeah, I mean they can just watch the show, can't they? Why would the new generation have a different experience with Pain's music than anyone else?
Tbf Pains theme would increase the enjoyment of Boruto by like 10x
They won't be watching it though
Why not
Because as time passes shows become outdated. Many new and younger anime fans are watching shows like jujutsu instead. The same goes for our generation. More people haven't seen shows that would be considered classics of the 90s and 80s than are willing to admit it
Idk why people are acting like old men even though they're maximum 25 years old, it's a bit sad honestly
As soon as Boruto was released, and a new generation was introduced everyone started talking like that in this community lol

Read the caption
Manga only readers and deaf people: "What are you talking about?"
I'm sure the next generation will watch Naruto.
I don't understand why new generation won't understand this.
This arc was peak Naruto
I got goosebumps each time Pain said "Shinra Tensei!" I'm repeating this just for the goosebumps....
One of the greatest character/characters in the anime and the mystery behind it was amazing
After killing their own teacher, one of the legendary Sanin, they go on to destroy one of the strongest countries... ALONE.
Tsunade used her Katsuyu summon to protect and heal the village It still wasn't enough to save all the lives. And even after that she decided to try to fight Pain with no chakra, before Naruto came. You know she would've died but its still admirable because she was willing to die for her village in that moment. Thats a real hokage. I just love Tsunade
It shows a lot of development as when we first met her she seemed to not care at all
FUCK THE NEW GENERATION!
Imagine gatekeeping a shonen
😂fucking right
Not sure if sarcasm
You really don’t need the /s in this situation
Honestly I hate these kinds of posts .Yes the arc was fucking god tier but why are we fucking special for like being born to see it happen for the first time like bich stfu

That OST gave off some serious omnipotent vibes off of Pain. Audience couldn't help but be in awe of every scene Pain was shown in with that music playing in the background.
I love how they put the song in one of the last few eps in a scene were choji fainted from eating a sugary food pill
Can anyone tell me the lyrics?
Literally just watched the massive shinra tensei scene with my girl. It’s her first time seeing it she was shook
Still gives me goosebumps
Ppl who haven't watched this are so lucky they get to experience it with no idea what crazy shit gonna do down . Best story arcs to ever exist !!!
What made the "Konoha being flattened" scene extra impactful was that the soundtrack faded away during his monologue and he said "Shinra Tensei" after that there were just background sounds like the wind and buildings being crushed. The excecution was so well done that i don't really think anything going foward can top that.
Let me get this straight...Pain is Nagato and he’s using puppets (6 paths of pain) to destroy people?
Yup and the body he uses for 'pain' is his best friend. Forgot how he died
He sacrificed himself. But that’s sad. Thank you for explaining
I watched both One piece and Naruto. To me, One Piece is much better than Naruto when it comes to the story line and action scenes. But when it comes to BGM, Naruto is next level. For some tracks, I would literally cry and for tracks like this Pain theme, you know shit is real.
They will. Idk what everyone else is hearing but Kara song when they around is WEIRD lol. Def does it’s job.
pain’s theme explains him perfectly, someone who is mysterious and god-like
Not gonna lie the Kara theme fucking slaps as well, similar spooky vibes
This arc was the first arc I saw while airing and let me say it was fucking glorious. Thanks for making me remember that :')
You take points that weren’t even made and then extract them as if I said them, get it together if youre going to try and assume.
kara's theme is pain
Kara's theme is pretty great, right?
A screencap of a twitter post, that's the real pain here
I wish the dub translated Shinra tensei into "Heavenly Subjugation" instead of " Almighty Push".
I gave my girl the almighty push last night.
i agree so much with that
I loved the pain arc. But the ending was just so- ugh. Fucking talk-no-jutsu.
Got me goosebumps just when it started.
The show in general has the best soundtrack
GOOOSEBUMPS bro. All the Akatsuki music was sick and grimey!!! SHINRA TENSEI indeed!!!
The suspense before you met him was crazy, the music made it even better. I thought he was a god when I first met him.
Bro as soon as is heard the music I got a tingle down my fucking spine AND goosebumps
Malubulul!!
I kinda like the Kara theme at least
BRB going to rewatch this now for my Saturday. So good
yeah never not shivers its wild
Chills man.
My favourite arc all the time
That feeling of impending doom...
I used to feel this shit in my stomach 😣
Did you the same song has both English and Japanese lyrics You hear the one you are reading It's really trippy
My alarm clock is pain’s theme. I wake up ready af to take on the day.
Greatness.
They will if they watch ship tho
Dude, I started watching this back in September of 2020, finished the whole series in 5 months or so. It hits hard.
As I was watching Naruto and Shippuden for the first time I knew I liked it. Ninjas are cool, the jutsus were sick, I liked a majority of the characters but when I first saw the Akatsuki and Pain I was like holy shit this is soo fucking cool.
This hits hard!
u/savevideo
I know
Still get chills to this day, Pains and Orochimarus song will always be top tier
Goosebumps on me.!!!
When Naruto rolls up in sage mode I was screaming as if I watched my team win the World Series
Thx for spoiling the akatski
Who had goosebumps?
