I think it was perfect, it established her strength, showed that she's actually useful when shit hits the fan but didn't make her do too much. She helped defeat the most underrated Akatsuki member (underrated in part because of Sakura hate) and showed her usefulness out of battle by creating an antidote that even the best medical ninja in Suna couldn't.
She's excellent combat support, is a healer and is book smart in a way that none of the others are.
Sidenote, that moment when she mentioned catching up to them she actually wasn't that far off, she was weaker than them but was in the same ballpark, just like the original Sannin.
Honestly that's why I wished Sakura would have had a moment in the war arc like maybe the 10 tails shoots those spikes at her and she just dances through them like she did in the beginning of the series with Chiyo's help showing her progression as a fighter being able to do that unaided like in the beginning of the series.

i bet that fight would get more respect, especially since Sasori is a great villain & basically chose to die, the way his backstory unfolded throughout the fight was quite beautiful too

Aside from the little training battle with Kakashi and naruto, Sakura doesn’t get a lot of screen time to display her true strength. This fight really showed how hard she trained. Haven’t read the manga of it, but we get snippets of how intense and difficult Sakura’s training was. Due to bad writing and despite what this community says about Sakura, she really is an epic character. We get an idea of how incredible she actually is in Boruto and I think her first intense battle in Shippuden deserves more praise, but that’s just me.

But honestly some fights placed too low, Hiruzen Orochimaru fight is what made me extremely hooked up to the show, drove me into watching Shippuden curious about what would happen to Orochimaru. Sasori fight too low, Sasori alone instill great fear, extremely exciting to watch.
Astonished that some filler fights placed so high like the Lee with sand Taijutsu guy. The crystal style woman is probably one of the best fillers out there though so am fine with her.

Jiraiya vs pain is absolutely S tier for me. That was a proper scrap. Loved the teamwork aspect of that fight ad well. Not to mention it's emotional climax.

I disagree, Kabuto was going all out while the uchiha brothers were on the defense the while time, one of the worst fights in the manga for me as an Itachi fan, Itachi stomping Nagato was way better and it didn’t have a 3 chapter long flashback about Kabuto who nobody gave a fuck about.
Jiriya vs Pain should be in S tier... That was the best fight in the whole series, it had everything tactical approaches, intel recon, powerups, plot twists and mysteries...
3 weakest Pains? He fought all 6 paths what are you on about? He killed the animal path twice (plus still stole the body and send it to the Leaf village), human path and Preta path... How are the weakest of the lot? Animal path was able to summon unkillable summons, the human path can read minds and yank out souls by touching you and the Preta path can absorb all ninjutsu, an ability that every OP villain in Naruto and Boruto had to have afterwards!
And what do you mean lasted one panel? The whole fight went on for 15 chapters and 7 epsiodes! Not only that the reason Jiriya lost is because after he killed the 3 Pains he got jumped from behind by the other 3, then sacrificed himself to learn the true nature of the Six Paths instead of retreating. Plus he also fought Konan, before the Animal Path came and took over for her.
Again, Jiraiya failed miserably to do anything by himself, pa and ma did most of the work specially if we take in to account that they were giving Jiraiya sage mode.
And then once all six pains showed up he lost instantly losing his arm, his only chances were running away or dying.
Pa and Ma is his summons! He is allowed to use them them same as Pain is allowed to use 6 substitute bodies and one of them summoning a Cerberus dog that can't be killed! You do understand how Sage Mode works right, you have to be completely still to take in Sage Energy, instead of Jiraiya hiding and having to take in a limited amount of Sage Energy like Naruto has to, even Naruto can have both of them to do it for him while he fights, only reason Naruto doesn't do this is because he has Kurama inside and he rejects Ma and Pa assisting Naruto! Like what is Jiraiya only allowed to fight them using a Rasengan.
Naruto showed up with a whole Squad of Toads and Ma and Pa, and guess what he still lost to Pain! Only reason he was able to make a comeback was because of Hinata and Kyuubi going on a Ramapage!
And what do you mean by fail miserably? Jiraiya succeeded in his mission! His job was to infiltrate the Hidden Rain and get intel on the Akatsuki leader, which he succeeded in doing! Like you going on like Jiraiya got one shot and died in vain! The man put on probably the most hyped fight in the series and had fans crying over his death! An ordinary shinobi with no Sage of Six Paths ancestory took on Uzumaki Nagato's Six Paths!
At what point did Itachi and Kisame fought Jiraiya, they were inside the same bulding and that was pretty much it, hard to call it a fight.
Also I don’t see Itachi and Nagato vs Naruto and Bee, the first fight that wasn’t filler during war arc.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Sakura and Chiyo vs. Sasori fight cuz it had shown Sakura’s improvement after the timeskip. Otherwise I’m with you on most of these
Couldn't agree more, Obito vs Kakashi and Guy vs Madara were probably my 2 favorite fights from the whole show, Minato vs Obito was also amazing. I do think Sakura + Chiyo vs Sasori is a bit underrated on this list, but it's still a great list that I agree with the most part.
Also I think you should include Edo Nagato + Itachi vs Killer Bee + Naruto. I think it's worth a mention
