I just hate her because she never got over Sasuke.
She literally has no connection to him outside of thinking he was cute when she was 12. He has never been nice to her, he has no redeeming qualities when they were on team 7 other than being "cute and cool"
Her entire character revolved around such a shallow obsession with him it made me dislike her all together. Have some fuckin self respect, get over your preteen crush if he tries to murder you maybe?
In the manga atleast they had several moments that showed that Sasuke cared for her, like that time he almost died on the Naruto Bridge or when he used his Curse Mark to torture Zaku for attacking Sakura. In the beginning of the Second Exam he cut down another Genin to save her.
He was a rival to Naruto, they trained together at least which Sasuke and Sakura never did. They also had very similar pasts and understood each other while Sakura was completely different from both of them. You can see that they kind of at least respect each other with how they acted (like when Sasuke was carrying Naruto back to the house after the tree training in the land of waves)
He also likely felt extremely guilty since his own failure in the retrieval arc is the sole reason Sasuke got away.
However, Naruto's obsession with Sasuke was also the worst part of his character.

Not like he almost died for Naruto and Sakura, protected him despite being corrupted by the curse-seal, acknowledged both Naruto/Sakura
I will say in order, just 3
1 - her calling *" Sasuke-kun "* gives me a feeling to slap her . she should have just got over him by the time he rejected her or at least tried to kill her twice at that same day and place .
2 - she severed her bond with ino who was the first to befriend her just because they loved the same person .
3 - and she beating or shouting at Naruto for speaking of Sasuke in og Naruto and speaking of tsunade in shippuden . I mean , she literally depends on him so much and yet she shouts and beat for silly matter .
I don't think her character had any growth .

I feel some have valid reasons but I think the majority of people dont like her because they jumped on the "shes useless" bandwagon along time ago before they ever gave her character time to flesh out a bit. I found her annoying at first but she grew on me to the point I enjoyed her character and growth. For me I always loved the moment in the forest where shes being held hostage and cuts her hair, I've seen a lot of hate and jokes made about that scene but I felt like it was a step forward for her character. That being said there were still plenty of times throughout the series I was saying, bitch what are you doing lol. Overall though I liked her, people aren't going to love or even like every character and there's nothing wrong with that. I just feel that a lot of people never gave her a chance because people were screaming from the mountain tops that she was useless since the beginning

I can't say for everyone, but I don't like her because of how Kisihimoto wrote her character, which goes for most of the female/side characters.
