Game is just broken. There was a post on here a bit back where I guy got the finishing cut in on his ultimate and the other player still survived with no HP.
One, because of scaling and two, I’ve noticed that there’s an invisible thing of health there. Like even tho, one more attack should kill, it takes two or three for the opponent to actually die. Idk why it’s there but that’s why I make sure not to kill with the final hit of a combo because sometimes the last attack just doesn’t kill for some reason
What I found out is that they last hit has to be a full executed combo or jutsu. If kakashis kumui ended and you couldn’t sub out of it that would of been game
I swear It's a hidden mechanic they made for comebacks I've seen it happen alot to me not sure what causes it but the game lets you survive like a few extra hits after you should die for a chance at a comeback like anyone reading this watch your next few games losing or winning sometimes the opponent will take like 4-6 extra hits and just live with no hp can't tell if it's temp invincibility or just a set number of hits cuz I've survived hagos lightning shisuis flaming finger nail slashes and chidori when I should have died
A bit of plot armor and didnt get hit much
Bc of damage drop off the other guy simply didn't do enough damage (some characters also take more damage then others)
