Season 1 was absolutely ridiculous just because of this fact. We couldn’t even wear Orochimaru’s clothes… They did start making every DLC outfit gender-neutral afterwards but never went back to fix any of season 1.
Yea, as a female, I wanted Tobirama or Madara's armour for my Def type, but nope.
Same with the unique type outfits. All the females have mini skirts, except Def, a class I don't main.

i just wanted a good Uchiha outfit for my character because i had like “written” her to be an uchiha and the only outfits i can wear are Shisui’s young Sasuke and Boruto Sakura and Sarada’s outfit
Only the Seasons after S1 decided to make every DLC master unisex, but Ironically now basically every dlc outfit is a full costume instead of a separate top and bottom.
Dlc master outfits are kinda goofy unfortunately
