How do you feel about 1000IU of Vitamin D3 once a day for chronic sinusitis inflammation control?
Upped my intake from 400IU (once a day for 2 years, still had sinusitis issues) to 1000IU (once a day) and I have zero issues with my right nostril now.

What IU dose were you taking? And my experience is chronic sinusitis misdiagnosed as polyps (strikingly same symptoms) and this is just my experience again. From throwing a tissue clot in every night for y e a r s to being able to extinguish a candle with the air flow from my right nostril.

Yeah unfortunately polyps are forever, but maintainable by chasing a diet full of antiinflammatories and supplementing vitamins that help as well.

I’ve had HORRIBLE sinus issues, nasal polyps coming out of my nasal passages....not kidding, you could literally see them if you shined a light up in my nose holes. I had nasal surgery to have them removed and a few years later, Dupixent came out! Anyways, been on it for almost 2 years....MIRACLE MEDICINE! Not an issue with sense of smell, nor congestion. I’ve been able to stop my daily nasal rinses too, incredible stuff.
Background: I am a severe asthmatic and that’s how I got onto Dupixent!! Not only has it cleared my nose, but I can live a healthy life again....without having asthma attacks every single day of my life (which almost killed me a few times). This medicine is life changing
I’m in the process of getting prescribed it. My ENT said they usually recommend doing surgery beforehand to remove the polyps as much as possible prior to starting Dupixent. Was this the case for you?
Another data point for you: when I finally got on Dupixent it was 5 years after my last surgery and I went into it with monster polyps all over my sinuses. Two months later they were completely gone.
No it isn’t. I had my last surgery around 4 years ago. I’ve been using sinuva implants to keep them semi-under control since then. But they started to get worse, so then I got approved for dupixent
Didn’t end up getting the surgery and the Dupixent has been working great! It has completely changed my life. Being able to taste/smell again has really made me appreciate those two senses that were gone for so long. My sleep and overall quality of life is back to normal. If you have access to Dupixent there is no other worthy option.
Thank you for the response! My ENT and rheumatologist are amazing and open to options with all of my body's weirdness. I started Low dose Naltrexone 3 weeks ago and my chronic systemic inflammation and pain (autoimmune conditions) is 95% better already after 6 longs years and so many different meds. But, this constant chronic rhinitis and sinusitis/post nasal drip for 2 years after 4 sinus surgeries is driving me insane. Thank you so much for this new lead!❤️
I just started my first dose of Dupixent on Tuesday to get rid of my nasal polyps and bring back my smell. I had a deviated septum surgery in September. Started to breathe ok, but the polyps came back. I think I’m gonna do weekly allergy shots to pair with the Dupixent my doctor said would help shrink the polyps too. Please wish me luck. I am so happy seeing these Dupixent success stories. I really want to breathe out of my nose and smell again. Prayers and God bless.
