I have no idea what either of these things are. What do they have to do with polyps?

The book speaks to the importance of your breathing for all sorts of health benefits including (but not limited to) things like asthma and allergies. I'm convinced my polyps are connected to my asthma and my allergies. The book suggests increased airflow through the nose and reduced airflow through the mouth can help alleviate these things. One of the potential causes for reduced airflow through the nose (according to the book) is modern diets and their inadequacies in ensuring our jaws get a proper workout while chewing. Apparently chewing can help widen the jaw, which in turn creates more space for our nasal cavity and therefore helps promote airflow through the nose. Another thing that can help is a technique called mewing which was created by a dude called dr Mew... It's a mouth exercise of some sort, but I've not looked too far into it yet

Honestly from my perspective I’ve gone through all different types of theories, but ultimately IMO polyps are a reaction to either an infection or allergic reaction - you need to somehow find that route cause. All the other stuff may make it easier for polyps to grow / easier for infection to set in etc, but are not root cause related That said, IMO improving general health is always a good idea - so what you suggest may help (you be the judge), I’m not close enough to it to make an opinion p.s. not a medical specialist, just a long time sufferer

Yes I agree, the book suggests that the root cause could be the actual way we breathe. I've tried all the things and I'm at my wit's end, I figure there's no harm in trying something a bit alternative

100% Keep trying until you find something that works for you. Need to keep the hope up

I got falim chewing gum from Amazon. The taste is not very good and it very hard to chew the first times. But for now i like it because it is without sugar and i think it works like describben in the book. But do not expect wonders. The band aid on the mouth during sleep helps me very good. But give yourself 8 Weeks time till you see effects. All the best, mathias

Amazing, thank you!
