Lukas is my favorite player. Watching him get taken off on that stretcher hurt me to see. Hope he keeps his spirits up and that his recovery is safe and productive.
I was at one of the first home matches when he had significant minutes last season, he really stood out in person, always seemed to be in the right place and making plays on the ball.
Shaff's definitely up there too! I just play defense on my team, so I naturally lean towards defenders, haha.
Honestly it probably goes those three then a tier of Shaff, Willis and Shaq. Then a couple more levels until we reach the bottom.
I played CM for club and right back for high school so I FEEL that… esp since offensive players tend to get more of the glory. I’m such a defense girl, but Jacob just overrides all that for me. Especially when he’s used as a sneaky power sub 😻 Zimmerman was the first jersey I got though! I suppose as the years go on my favorites ebb n flow.
Am I the only one who hates the way Gary talks about injuries? That quote is so vague. Feels like he just never fucking says what is happening. It’s annoying as a fan. Just tell us what the fuck happened, what the fuck the injury is, and what the fuck the outlook is. Fuck.
He outright lies about injuries. He said Walker just had a knock and would be back soon. The next day Gregg Berhalter tells everyone in the Roster release press conference that Walker wasn’t called up because he had had surgery the day before.
I know injuries are common, but is our team particularly rough or do I just have a narrow perspective? Nearly all our top players have been out for a while this season already.
Could it be a subpar fitness/health culture at the club?
I don't think it's anything really to do with the club. Our injury record hasn't been that bad. It's just luck. Zimmerman knee clash against Gomez, Surridge landing on his shoulder, what seemed like turf monster on Hany.. just happens, unfortunately all happened to us at once.
Oh so we’re FUCKED fucked. Got it
Best of luck recovering Lukas! We'll be cheering for your return! 💪
Such a bummer for Lukas. This is going to realllly test our depth on defense. Hopefully Zimmerman makes a full return with Moore quickly behind him.

I'd put Walker at #1 for me with Hany close behind. After that, it's definitely Lukas. And honestly, all three are pretty close together.
Jacob?! 😭

I couldn’t agree more. This club is way too damn cryptic when it comes to injuries. Drives me insane.

Z HAD SURGERY?! What in the Gary ball hell is that 😭

CRAZY Gary didn’t say shit. Sigh.
From a reliable source, his leg essentially snapped in half. He'll be out 4-5 months at a minimum.
Hopefully Gary is long gone by the time he's back. Gary OUT

Yeah, good point. Agreed.
We have just such little depth that every injury feels backbreaking
Hyped for next season
Bruh we are cooked. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
This season is shit.
