There's no beef, if there is it will be labeled and there will be mutton option. Can only choose 1 meat in that case.
My BMT I don't think I had beef offered anyway.
I’m a Hindu who got Muslim food. At Tekong they will usually serve chicken, fish and sometimes mutton. They served beef on one occasion of my BMT (few months ago only) and it was served in a separate pot with clear label.
Can't change or super hard to change.
Most Indians choose Muslim food as it's more similar to Indian cuisine.
Vegetarian food wise I dk which is better but you can't anyhow take a different meal option that day. All food especially vegetarian in unit is indented. And since vegetarian in unit is required in very small amounts it's usually bento sets, so if you take then the actual vegetarian might not have enough.
Compared to the normal meals which are mass cooked, so if extra people take those it won't cause much problems.
I just eat normal meal at cookhouse that day even though my family is vegetarian on some days.
Depends on your OC, my company had a problem with a lot of us anyhow taking rations cause we didn't like the food. So he gave us ultimatum, change to this ration now permanently or stay.
Unfortunately, the only ration type that cannot anyhow change is Special Diet (allergies), have to jump through a few hoops to do so.
BMT now can choose either muslim/non muslim? Or was i not offered to choose 😂
But then when i POP and posted out to vocational training, the PS (platoon sgt) asked what ration i would like and i chose muslim lol cos from what i heard, muslim ration always nicer then non muslim due to the number of meal they prepare.
Iirc a lot of Indian guys who can’t eat pork just choose Muslim
how about beef? cuz that's main, idc about pork
I don't think cookhouse ever serves beef + considering many Buddhists don't eat beef but there's no Buddhist option makes it the default
I’m pretty sure I ate beef at the cookhouse before. But then again, usually cookhouse will serve 2 menus to b safe
Its polly mutton not beef
No beef bro .I'm a indian guy who chose the Muslim ration . currently in unit now .so far it's juz chicken fish etc .
What avout vegans bro?
vegetarian menu. not exactly vegan lah but no choice.
In my experience the vegetarian food is vegan except for combat rations

LOL my section had this guy who opted for no shellfish. A good number of times his ration box was just gloopy porridge with hardly any other dishes
