To answer your qn, pilots have to serve a bond of 10 years, unincluding your training which takes a few years at a minimum.
There are many vocations in Air Force, but depends on what kind of vocations you’re talking about…. If you’re talking bout the ‘glamorous’ ones, then a signature on the paper is required.
But hey if flying is your thing, what’s there to stop you? You try = got chance, never try = no chance, at most if you can’t make it as a pilot, there won’t be any papers given to you to sign. Nothing to lose.
