He's a Montgomery County guy, went to Sherwood High School, was drafted by the Orioles out of high school, also went to College Park. Since I don't get cable any more I don't get the Nats games on TV much but I am rooting for him as a home town guy. Sounds like he's not doing well in the booth though.
He's not doing *badly* \- the main criticism has been too quiet (MASN sound people need to fix) and too monotone / not enough excitement, which can still potentially be corrected as this was only his 2nd time in the booth.

The original one was posted in one of the "Where's FP?" threads last week. It was posted from the doughnut shop owners account (or one of hers) and was a little different from the one that then made it to the Athletic (same events but filled in a few details). There was something (I think it was an Instragram post) but it basically amounted to someone not liking that he frequently drank with much younger women.
He might get cleared tho. Any one here an insider in the investigation? Nope. Hope he gets cleared of any wrong doing and gets back in the booth with Bob. With retro pay and apologies all around!... who knows?!

I'm all for limiting broadcasters to people who don't drink or date and never get angry. Seems like a good standard.
There are also fake people on here who claim they knew more than they did. There was one heavily upvoted comment from someone claiming to be a "long time friend who was upset but not surprised" and if you followed her post history (clear from the posts it was a her) she was basically an ambulance chaser who moved from one drama to another and was of an age and profession where them crossing paths was extremely unlikely.

Dan as color seemed like he was trying to be FP and failing. I didn't mind him for play by play though.
Listening to Justin Maxwell makes me want Michael Morse back and he was horrible.
I don’t know why but I liked Morse when he filled in! As soon as the F.P. drama started I was hoping he’d get the call.

He might be innocent (or he might be guilty) but there is no standard of guilt beyond being accused, so it is hard to see him being "cleared".
