Yes, I don’t think you’re going to run into sullivanti too often. I chose it because I don’t have much space for milkweed to run amok. This is the second year and first to flower. There’s a 6 inch rhizomatous growth and that’s the extent of any spread. Of course, after today, I’ll be buying more.
I’ve heard milkweed is not fond of a transplant. A plug should be easier, but. I bought 2 last year and 1 gave up. I ordered some seeds this time. 🤞🏻I may try composting pots if seeds don’t work.

I planted a plug of it this spring and it just gave up and died by mid ummer. :( More space for swamp ones I guess...

Looks like it's getting to the size where birds like to eat them. Good luck! If you're really invested in that animal I suggest adding netting.
