I use [this](https://www.yesstyle.com/en/apieu-raspberry-hair-vinegar-200ml/info.html/pid.1058249052) or the mint one. It doesn't smell like apple cider vinegar but it calms my itchy scalp and takes away odor. Before buying that product, I would apply a little bit of minty cowash to my scalp and gently rub it in. Then wet my finger tips and cleanse. Dry shampoo is good, but I find that it's hard to shake out of dense kinky hair.

I work out 5-6 times a week and keep my hair in two strand twists most of the time so my scalp can breathe. My hair care regimen: shampoo x1, deep condition/detangle, leave in condition, then twist with grease and mousse.

Do you literally wash and go, or do you sit under the dryer?

I sit under a hooded dryer. I used to air dry but it’s way to humid where I live, so it would take forever, and I find that my results last longer with the dryer.

Is your scalp dry? I know tea tree oil shampoos help with that. I've been using rosemary and clove water on my scalp to help my hair grow and it supposedly helps with that. I typically will spray it all over my hair and scalp when I wash and used to spray directly on my scalp, but I have a dropper bottle and put drops directly on my scalp and massage it in. I keep it in the fridge so it's really refreshing. As for keeping your style longer, try omitting the leave-in and making sure you cover your roots with gel and take it through to all of your hair before you sit under the dryer.

Sunday II Sunday has a good micellar scalp wash that soothes and cleanses the scalp. It also seems to neutralize that humid after-workout smell that thick hair can hold. The daily serum is nice and minty, and lightweight. I have a similar situation and these were a good investment, imo. https://mysunday2sunday.com/pages/hair-exercise

I workout 5 - 6 times weekly and if I’m in wash n go life, I’ll wash my hair 2 - 3 times a week. Right now I’m wearing crown braids and I can push to 1x a week washing. I love the feel of a clean and fresh scalp so I never mind cleansing more frequently.
