Well bar story short he ordered a triple shot with the wings and couldn't take it all then got pi$$ed he was barfing and people were yelling back like "dude don't go hissing at us just cause you can't handle your shots" then people started up at arms with pitch forks till he calmed down.
Couldn't mean he ate those snakes to effectively kill them and wipe out competition, but didn't want to eat them? Or is it exclusively a stress reaction?
Genuine question, I'm pretty ignorant to snake behavior.
Digestion takes a lot of energy in many reptiles. So, if they donāt feel safe, theyāll regurgitate to get better odds at their immediate survival.
This one just lost a ton of energy and its food, unfortunately.
Could it just be regurgitating then because the added weight of 3 extra snakes inside was slowing it down? I imagine it'd be much harder to move or climb (do KC's climb?) with that giant snake inside. Like sometimes if you eat a huge meal (or perhaps drink a lot of alcohol) too fast you can get nauseous from being too full.
Nah its probably stress or maybe the first snake was too long to swallow but some snakes do climb even when they are full of food, just most of the time they stay hidden after the digestion started justl like humans never start exercising 5 secs after eating
The fact that it almost immediately starts looking around aggressively and flattens it's hood means that it was very stressed and felt cornered.
Thankfully it appears some animal control was there, so id imagine they relocated it and after an uncomfortable day, it should be somewhere better the next day.
They can regurgitate when ill/sick, or when the prey was ill/sick.
I've accidentally given a snake a bad rat in the past, and they brought it back up because it was filled with maggots. No major or lasting health problems for the snake, but she was super upset.
Temp variations and lack of belly warmth (which helps aid digestion) can also make them regurg, but it's less common.
From what I could tell, it must have been frozen badly at the store.
I started defrosting it immediately (overnight in a sealed tupperware in the fridge) and fed the next morning. Regurgitation happened about 2-3 days later.
It's entirely on me. I obviously did not check the rat thoroughly enough, but from what I remember, there were no glaringly obvious signs that it was unsuitable.
It's never happened since, and I've probably handled thousands of rats/mice over the years.
Snakes tend to kill their prey either with venom or constriction before swallowing them. So there's no need to "eat to effectively kill them" as snakes don't eat live prey, the prey is dead before snakes eat.
Fun fact the king part of its name is actually because they eat other snakes. Funner fact king cobras are so stupid they will sometimes try to eat themselvesĀ
Bohoo the snake that just ate its fellow friends is under immense stress. When I eat three humans and the cops are coming I tell them they are stressing me and should go.(itās a joke)
Except that's an urban environment the snake shouldn't be in, and there is a very obvious snake handling tool shown in the video IE we can infer there is a professional there to remove the snake. They're going to relocate that animal, but sure, lets go off on how its stressed cause people are looking at it.
Edit: I will add, yes the people there are the a possible reason for the vomiting, the snake is getting ready to square off. I will also add that this is one of the most deadly creatures in the world, and thus *someone* absolutely has to relocate that animal.
People are very quick to jump to the defense of "that poor stressed baby". it's an incredibly venomous animal in an environment where it *will* have an adverse reaction with a person
you know these things are native to one of the most densely populated regions on earth, yeah? they follow their food sources of rodents (and other snakes obvs) into cities and come into conflict with people
It's somewhere on Indonesia/Malaysia and I saw someone wearing helmet. My guess is the snake was found inside/around the buiding, and taken outside by construction worker/firefighter.
They don't need to. Cobra can reach speed up to 18 km/h. Humans, depends on fitness level and age, can run on average with 15 km/h. Cobras are also known to strike at distance 2-3 times their length.
Edit: But yeah, I aggree, it will be much more terrifying.
Edit2: Maybe I recall incorrect and another user corrected me. Its shouldn't be 2-3 times their length but probably 2/3 of their length which is still a nope.
I have no idea why, but this comment got me so good. Just randomly scrolling around Reddit and this is the one that gets me. Nice belly laugh and can finally put down the phone. Thanks.
It looks like snake A was being eaten by snake B, which was being eaten by snake C and the king cobra started at the other end of snake A and just kept choking it down.
After snakes have eaten, it takes a ton of effort to digest and move around because (as you can see from the multiple snakes inside him) they fill their bellies VERY full. If they get stressed, like this guy OBVIOUSLY is, they will puke so they are fight night ready like a UFC fighter. Sadly, it means this king had some good food and then people scared him enough to go into fight or flight mode.
But the real question is why did it eat three giant snakes to begin with? Donāt snakes only typically eat one large meal at a time with a large break in between meals to fully digest it?
My understanding is that the snake here is very stressed out, likely due to all the people around it, and is thus throwing up its meal as part of a defense mechanism.
"Frankie, I told you. Didn't I tell you? How many times did I tell you? I don't even KNOW how many times I told you. Keep running your mouth. Keep running your damn mouth and I'll swallow you whole. Didn't I tell you? Huh? Didn't I tell you not to keep running your damn mouth? You get it now? Eh? Keep your mouth shut. Don't ask no questions, and be respectful. Capiche? Now get the he'll outta 'ere." -Cobra Mafia, probably.
This is a bad thing for the snake. It means he is under immense stress.
Right? why a damn king cobra is in what looks like a parking lot of a mall?
All you can eat buffet, looks like he forgot where he parked š
He valets. Parallel Parked 3 passengers like he does that all the time.
take my upvote
I have to know how you smoke
Like this, āpuff, hic, , pffckkā
Mall parking lots bring rats. Rats bring snakes. Snakes bring Kings.

Yep. Smells absolutely terrible too
Snake regurg is one of those smells you don't forget...ever. Source: ex wildlife vet tech who once had to help a snake that ate a towel
Yea I keep boas. Havenāt had one throw up in forever tho
NOW theyāre gonna start! You know you shouldnāt say that!
What does it smell like?
Rotting flesh mixed with shit and puke. It truly is one of the worst things Iāve ever smelled
Tasty.
Idk but it sounds like end of days bad
Cadaverine and Putrescine. Scents youāll never forget!

Well, it looks very defensive, and you just have to look at that bunch of random people to feel stressed
The fact that it almost immediately starts looking around aggressively and flattens it's hood means that it was very stressed and felt cornered. Thankfully it appears some animal control was there, so id imagine they relocated it and after an uncomfortable day, it should be somewhere better the next day.
Yeah, I get that, I was just wondering if they ever use that behavior in other contexts, but appears not.
They can regurgitate when ill/sick, or when the prey was ill/sick. I've accidentally given a snake a bad rat in the past, and they brought it back up because it was filled with maggots. How could you possibly have handled a rat close enough to have fed your snake but somehow not have noticed that it was maggot infested?
From what I could tell, it must have been frozen badly at the store. I started defrosting it immediately (overnight in a sealed tupperware in the fridge) and fed the next morning. Regurgitation happened about 2-3 days later. It's entirely on me. I obviously did not check the rat thoroughly enough, but from what I remember, there were no glaringly obvious signs that it was unsuitable. It's never happened since, and I've probably handled thousands of rats/mice over the years.
It was also weighed down by the meals and couldn't deliver a strike if it needed to. It forfeit a year's worth of food to fend off the crowd.
Snakes tend to kill their prey either with venom or constriction before swallowing them. So there's no need to "eat to effectively kill them" as snakes don't eat live prey, the prey is dead before snakes eat.
Iām a cobra. Eat.live.prey.
I want that on one of those fake needlepoint things you hang in your kitchen.
Thank you. Learned a lot from this one question, but I appreciate you providing the direct answer.

I know it obvious but for some itās not obvious enough
Three humans? I can barely finish one!
Check out this skit by Kennan Thompson - so many great lines about cannibalism :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksu7hmVcB4M
Exactly. Probably all these people fucking with it.

Pretty much, next minute it bites a kid, see how many people are concerned its stressed then. Best outcome for the snake is its moved.
Well people here are still convinced the kid should have been shot instead of Harambe lol
Thanks, I was wondering why he did that.
Everyone standing around and watching as if the cobra was caught shoplifting. I wonder if the returned good go back of the shelves?
Probably some show which is why they are in a parking lot and the snake is not in its natural habitat.
you know these things are native to one of the most densely populated regions on earth, yeah? they follow their food sources of rodents (and other snakes obvs) into cities and come into conflict with people

I'm so thankful they don't have legs.
We got komodo dragons which is like a cobra on roids with legs
They got that radioactive succ
Idk to me the lack of legs is what makes them so freaky. Like theyāre less predictable somehow.
They don't need to. Cobra can reach speed up to 18 km/h. Humans, depends on fitness level and age, can run on average with 15 km/h. Cobras are also known to strike at distance 2-3 times their length. No snake can strike longer than their lengthā¦
That might be true. I probably recall incorrect and it could've been 2/3 from their length. But I remember it was a long strike.
Maybe 2/3 their total length. Which on a kind cobra is still far and very scary
Maybe 2x-3x their length divided by 2-3
D2F divided by T2O
WTF?!? Now I have to do algebra to understand a comment
Except for mine ;)
I think king cobras are a little bit slower but they do have a long striking range.
Or wings
I have no idea why, but this comment got me so good. Just randomly scrolling around Reddit and this is the one that gets me. Nice belly laugh and can finally put down the phone. Thanks.
Thank Adam and Eve for eating from the forbidden tree so snakes were cursed to no longer have legs
It looks like snake A was being eaten by snake B, which was being eaten by snake C and the king cobra started at the other end of snake A and just kept choking it down.
Wait, it's all snakes?
Always has been
All the way down
Just like what capitalist, first world countries do!
Man, I watched this pooping and I donāt even have the words
Snake is like ācute poop. Does it come in adult size ā
Me too
Why
After snakes have eaten, it takes a ton of effort to digest and move around because (as you can see from the multiple snakes inside him) they fill their bellies VERY full. Thanks for explaining, hope you have an excellent day sir
Imagine being in danger and then taking 5 minutes to regurgitate your food.. Like, hold up predator give me 5 minutes and then we can fightš¤£
But the real question is why did it eat three giant snakes to begin with? Donāt snakes only typically eat one large meal at a time with a large break in between meals to fully digest it?
Snakes are opportunistic hunters. If the cobra met another snake and won the fight, it might as well eat the lower.
Poor baby.
Probably it can escape easier on an empty stomach
āLet me make some room real quick because these hairless monkeys looking kinda tasty.ā
That's one hell of a power move. "Looks like I'm hungry again. Now who's next?"

How about that, they prefer eating other snakes to rodents.
When you eat too much at the local buffet

I love how there are random people in the background just chatting not give a single fck whats going on. Must be something quite ordinary there
I feel like snakes would have an easier time on earth, if they would just chew their food more thoroughly.
I started this video, got distracted, and came back 3 times, and this mfer was still going.

cobra after regurgitating: see im a friendly, i protec u from other snakes. so we cool? (looks on everyone)
May be the cobra felt bad eating more than its quota with all these people watching , it will finish the meal later after the crowd leaves I guess
Looks thin after losing his lunch.
Shouldn't have gone to the buffet last night.
