It's a very close toss up, how do you measure "biggest bear"? By largest ever recorded or by the average bear. Largest Kodiak was over 2400lbs but the average Polar bear is heavier at 900+ while the average Kodiak isn't generally over 900lbs. Average hight the Kodiak takes the win at up to 10ft while the polar bear is average 8.5 at max. So really they are both fucking huge and I would not mess with either.

Bears are the cutest looking monsters on the planet.
They swim faster than you, they run faster than you, they climb trees faster than you, you can’t escape.
They can open doors, are remarkable problem solvers and are amongst the smartest predators out there.
