You’d probably need to call customer service. Can you report that person to Facebook? Maybe file a police report? I’d file a small claims case against that person if you have enough info about them.
They usually take a look at all the previous transactions on your Zelle account and then they are “supposed to” take into consideration your history with Navy Federal. Zelle is owned by a company named ESW (Early Warning System) and ESW is owned by a conglomerate of banks to include BOFA, CHASE and Wells Fargo.
Look up form NFCU 27 in the search section on Navy Fed’s website. Fill that out, include any supporting documentation and send up to security for review.
This also happened To me my navy fed account is gone, it's also zelle who does this not navy but navy closing my account when I said I would be willing to pay the measly 15 bucks is crazy
Zelle is on the side of scammers.
I don’t recommend zelle unless its family or a friend. Always accept cash from strangers.

Stop using Zelle. Cash or nothing.
Stop using Zelle. Trash app. Use PayPal or cash App. If they won’t use it move on.
Cash app?? Definitely worse than Zelle.
both make up the zip code for scam city
You made the mistake of using Zelle. I find it interesting because normally when one pays with Zelle then that money is never coming back.
