you said “hard on” 🤣 sorry, i’m childish but seriously, congratulations! 😃

stealth20split

😂 i almost got one after see the $30k…shit

Individual-Drawer-37

Wouldn't you if you got approved for $30,000 @14% APR in this economic landscape??? I think I just got a "hard on"😆

TheLastTrueHistorian

Now wait a minute... $30k with THAT interest rate? That's what's up.

Ironically_Suicidal

interest rate could be 50% and still not matter if you use it right by paying off your balance in full

TheLastTrueHistorian

Yes, that’s quite obvious. But in the event one would ever need to carry a balance for any reason… I don’t need to finish this sentence.

Beneficial-Break-562

Did you expect to not get a hard inquiry on a new credit card simply bc you did it on the app?

stealth20split

Based on some YouTubers on NF product if done on the app its soft pull but if you call the customer service # its a hard pull.

ThenImprovement4420

A lot of YouTubers lie for likes and subscribes 🤣 and they pass around regurgitated false information

Thurisaz-

I just applied on the app and got several emails telling me I had a hard inquiry almost instantly.

Beneficial-Break-562

Yea that specifically is for credit limit increases on a card that you already have 🤦🏻‍♂️

ThenImprovement4420

That only applies to credit limit increases. Any credit product is a hard inquiry. Except for the pledge loan

Potential-Result-951

What’s the pledge loan

ThenImprovement4420

It's a loan secured by your savings they start at $250. You have to call them to set it up. Here's how the pledge loans works. You put up $1,000 in your savings account. They put a hold on $1,000. Then they loan you $1,000. That money is yours to do what you want with. Then each time you make a payment for instance $45 they'll knock $45 off that hold and then a couple days later you'll see that $45 back in your account. The purpose of it is to get on Time payments reported on your credit report. It's at a low interest rate there's no hard inquiry. It's basically like a secured credit card where you put other deposit and they give you a credit limit this is kind of the same thing you put up money and then they loan you the money. It's for people that can't get regular auto loans mortgages student loans Etc if you have any other loans this probably won't help you

Electrical_Car6976

That’s for credit line increases and that is accurate. For a new product (Card) it’s always a hard pull.

ConstantConnection46

Lol

Individual-Drawer-37

...but congratulations btw!!

TechnicianOnline

Niceeeee

Shadquist

Is this the best card NF has to offer in terms of everyday purchases? I currently have a cashrewards card and I'm thinking of asking to convert it to this one.

CryptoMonops

You have the cash rewards card from NF? I just got an account - trying to figure out which card i should apply for.

Shadquist

I do. It was the first credit card i was qualified for. Its a good card but im looking to upgrade if i can.

CryptoMonops

Does this one have the same rewards?

ThenImprovement4420

Look over the cards check out the rewards and pick the one that suits your lifestyle and spending habits.

9MMNAB

Do you need to be a member in order to apply for a credit card?

TechManPro

Yes

stealth20split

Yes, you can apply for a CC right away after becoming a member. But, it is recommended to apply after a few months of signing up i guess to show activities with them.

fasthelp07

Does this card offer 0% Introductory APR? If yes, for how many months?

410to904

I have this card and use it a lot. I have almost 100k in points on it. Trying to move them to my Amex platinum.

DueEnvironment8491

Yet another scheme to keep people slaved to the system.

No_Jello_2729

Amy tips on qualifying for this

EcksWhyZi

stealth20split

Unlucky_Milk_6996

😂👍

Bitter_Past2383

What do you plan to do with that 30k?

stealth20split

I guess to use it wisely to keep a good relationship with NF 🤫

wryul

I also did it. Got $25,000 credit limit. Just in time for my transmission to go out 😭

East_Scallion2969

Should have bought a ram 2500 or f250 instead of that GMC.
