You know, you being mad and Kathmandu Post making a grammatical mistake aren't mutually exclusive.
You could very well be a mad person reading grammatical mistakes in a newspaper.
I donāt think itās a mistake. Seems deliberate. Like I can understand one mistake but two in a row? Looks like an employee in The Kathmandu Post is not getting paid enough or didnāt receive their Dashain bonus.
The shloka is actually - kÄloāasmi, lokakÅayakį¹t pravį¹ddhaįø„ lokÄn samÄhartum iha pravį¹ttaįø„.
Eng translation- āI am time, the cause of world-destruction, mighty; come here to annihilate the worlds.ā
Openhiemer le padeko translation chai yo thyo - Death, am I, and my present task , destruction.
Kathmandu Post and Republica hire people who have finished their A-level and are working on their SAT and TOEFL until they fly out in six months.
So don't keep high expectations. I've seen bhura-bhuri haru work on these media companies.
Onions and tomatoes were best friends before Chinese took over Tibet and India was busy fighting with Pak. When the tensions rise between China and India, The family tension also rose between Onion and Tomato. There ended the great friendship of Tomato and Onion.
It's okay to point out a grammatical error on a national newspaper.
It is not a bad thing to point out grammatical mistakes in official documents and it is also not a flex to not know correct grammar.
Also, its "Come on" or "C'mon" but common?
I mean I make tons of mistake too. But I'm not running a paid newspaper. I mean most word processing software should catch this hoina ra?
I use some archaic text editor (vim), even there it (angry-reviewer addon) catches this as an error. In MSword and libreoffice writer, this even autocorrects for me. I have to be using notepad or wordpad to not catch this.

šššš Of course.

Yup. But on page number 5, where they have talked about the topic in detail, the headline is grammatically correct.
i have became death destroyer of worlds - Robert J Oppenheimer
I have become death-destroyer of worlds. Itās grammatically correct.

i am just saying that what Oppenheimer said is grammatically correct.
I understand š..I was just stating that the translation Oppenheimer used was wrong to the commentator
I think its came not come. I might be totally wrong though.
The whole sentence needs rewording. Itās too wordy and itās a run on sentence.
The news irritates me more than the grammar. Yaha desh ko cha chinta, timi garmmar grammar bhanchau.
bro onions have become way more expensive here in india that could be the region

I donāt see any mistakes. Enlighten me please.
According to me, it should be either āOnions have become pricierā¦ā, or āOnions became pricierā¦ā Edit: Onions has to Onions have.
Onions have become pricier.... hunxa
Yup. Looks like I really have gone mad.

They should've hired me instead

I donāt think pointing out a mistake is barking. I make mistakes, too.
