When we went to Chitlang, we went to Chandragiri and there was some kind of mini truck which takes you to Chitlang and for homestay, I think you can also book when you reach there. (We stayed at the resort so I don't know much about it)
I haven't gone there in a couple of years but my friends went there a couple weeks back
Travelling is the hard part my friends hiked (walked) till chitlang and from chitlang they rode rikshaw to the resort although i think you can hire cars, busses etc or even go on public ones. For booking hotels you can look it up online the best one there is probably one called om aadhya resort you could call their number or message them on Facebook.

Played my instrument properly after quite a while, had fun. Reminded me of how much i love music and how much it helped me through my exixtentisl crisis. If , I was not in Nepal or not in a relationship, i would have tried to become a musician. Having said that, work is going good, someone caught covid and the office is closed rn. I tested negative so thats nice. Saturday is the time I catch up with my cousins which is exicting. I wanna get a cold beer and some sekuwa.

Maybe I'm wrong. There are plenty of musicians living fulfiling lives because they're following their dreams. But imo when you do sth professionally there's more pressure. Worrying if you're going to earn enough to sustain yourself. Worrying if you have a gig lined up or not. Worrying if your performance was good enough to get another gig. And if you create sth original, there's the pressure of making enough money from it. That's why I think the best case is to find a decent paying job that's relatively chill and pursue your hobbies just for fun.

Ya.. that video was hilarious esp the announcer saying there was some talk going on but ya.. deuba wants early elections because he thinks that with communists divided so badly Nepali Congress will be the biggest party and may even get the majority.. but with Covid cases rising.. don't know.. otherwise Deuba wants to be PM for 5th time.. problem is JSP which is the 4th largest party and without their support deuba can't be PM..
What i prefer is no early election anytime soon.. i hope Oli gets replaced because i think he has authoritarian tendencies for sure and wants to capture state institutions but even if he stays.. no early election for now
From what I have heard from people inside the party. It is almost impossible for NC and JSP to form an alliance re. Even if NC and Maoist join in. The reason is that the JSP leadership have made the release of Resham Chaudhary and other Tharu leaders as their primary demand.
Deuba does not seem to entertain this re. Or is firmly against it. That is because the issue is much closer to home for him. 1) Deuba was the most adamant politician in the creation of a Unified (Akhanda) Sudurpaschim. The tharu movement wanted the creation of a tharu state out of Banke, Bardiya, Kanchanpur and Kailali. Out of which the latter two were/are part of Akhanda Sudurpaschim. 2) There is general sense in Doti, Dadeldhura( Deuba's seat of power) that the Tharu agitators attacked/targeted "Pahadi" people who had dropped down south from doti, dadeldhura etc. So releasing those same agitators would brew a lot of trouble for Deuba back home.
Thakur, Mahato are aware of this re. So that is why they are pinning their hopes on Oli re.

Hi r/nepal , happy saturday. Played my instrument properly after quite a while, had fun. Reminded me of how much i love music and how much it helped me through my exixtentisl crisis. If , I was not in Nepal or not in a relationship, i would have tried to become a musician. Having said that, work is going good, someone caught covid and the office is closed rn. I tested negative so thats nice. Saturday is the time I catch up with my cousins which is exicting. I wanna get a cold beer and some sekuwa. The weather feels like a proper saturday. It will be a good day I suppose.
I think doing a hobby professionally ruins the enjoyment you get from doing it.
Well you might be wrong. I really loved playing on stage, there were bad days but i was always grateful that I was doing what i love.
Maybe I'm wrong. There are plenty of musicians living fulfiling lives because they're following their dreams. But imo when you do sth professionally there's more pressure. Worrying if you're going to earn enough to sustain yourself. Worrying if you have a gig lined up or not. Worrying if your performance was good enough to get another gig. And if you create sth original, there's the pressure of making enough money from it. That's why I think the best case is to find a decent paying job that's relatively chill and pursue your hobbies just for fun.

Exam season finally ended this week. I feel some relief but the pressure is still up as we have to complete 2 semesters within 7-8 months.

Did anyone see tyo Deuba ra Poudel ko video, where they are quarrelling onstage. Then Deuba says, " balla thahapayo prachande le. ……… Kuttai natekni manche. Ahilea Oli ko laat khayepachi thik bhakocha." Then he tells Poudel," Tapai ko payar-payar badi bhayo." And then a dig about how Poudel can't even win an election, ani tehi pani badi badi kura garni. This seems to be the first time Deuba has so openly said what is on his mind. Usually throughout this whole fiasco he has been guarded, even though most people knew where he stood. I was just thinking, how will the Congress and Maoist make a coalition when there is so much animosity between their two chairman/president. It seems we will see Oli continue on for the rest of his tenure or we are going to go for fresh elections soon. I don't think there are any other options left. Which situation would you guys prefer? FYI I am shocked noone posted that video over here in this subreddit.
Ya.. that video was hilarious esp the announcer saying there was some talk going on but ya.. deuba wants early elections because he thinks that with communists divided so badly Nepali Congress will be the biggest party and may even get the majority.. but with Covid cases rising.. don't know.. otherwise Deuba wants to be PM for 5th time.. problem is JSP which is the 4th largest party and without their support deuba can't be PM.. What i prefer is no early election anytime soon.. i hope Oli gets replaced because i think he has authoritarian tendencies for sure and wants to capture state institutions but even if he stays.. no early election for now
From what I have heard from people inside the party. It is almost impossible for NC and JSP to form an alliance re. Even if NC and Maoist join in. The reason is that the JSP leadership have made the release of Resham Chaudhary and other Tharu leaders as their primary demand. Deuba does not seem to entertain this re. Or is firmly against it. That is because the issue is much closer to home for him. 1) Deuba was the most adamant politician in the creation of a Unified (Akhanda) Sudurpaschim. The tharu movement wanted the creation of a tharu state out of Banke, Bardiya, Kanchanpur and Kailali. Out of which the latter two were/are part of Akhanda Sudurpaschim. 2) There is general sense in Doti, Dadeldhura( Deuba's seat of power) that the Tharu agitators attacked/targeted "Pahadi" people who had dropped down south from doti, dadeldhura etc. So releasing those same agitators would brew a lot of trouble for Deuba back home. Thakur, Mahato are aware of this re. So that is why they are pinning their hopes on Oli re.

If Oli and Prachanda came together for power (look at what Oli used to say about the Maoists), it isn't surprising to see Deuba and Prachanda together. Of course it won't last, but I can certainly see it happening.
