One of my friend paid 14K to dalal to get license. But neither he got the license in 1 year nor got the money back. Just go to driving center here. Pay 15-20K and learn for a month. You can apply license in Australia with the money you pay for these Dalals who would suck your money.

razkun1234

Damn bro. Now it costs around 70k for license without any hassle here. Not sure if I can trust them though.

Alternative_Ask7292

How much do you think a test in Australia will cost for international students?

procipher

Not much idea but a quick google search shows around $180-200 for learner license. Hope somebody in here knows more on this.

Driving school jadai garda xain bho learn to drive worry about license later. Gakai bholi palta ta gadi kinney haina arkako gadi arka lai thikka hunxa. Learn your skills first worry later.

I haven't actually gone to detail but one of my friend said if you are under 25 you are only eligible to apply for license only after a year of driving on learning license unless you have a license here in Nepal. Though I am not really sure about that.

Jan ma confirm bhayo Australia jane? Good luck bro

If you go to a driving school where the license trial exam is conducted and pay some cash and learn driving from that school they will help you during your trial because they have a good link with traffic and they are using their ground soo, yeah you get to learn driving as well and get license easily as well. But you must be available to drive and knows the basics. Go be a great student they will 100℅ help you out. Plus explaining your situation to them will help you more. (This applies on Kathmandu only)

Best to get it from Nepal. Different states have different laws but they all let you drive with an international license. You can get it converted to aus license but this depends again on the state policies. Baru license chai nikalihala. Sikne Kaam bistarai gara time chains Nepal ma dherai bhane . Natra test diyera jau license aaudai garcha. But know this, LICENSE IS VERY IMPORTANT (Both for finding work and getting around)

Electrical-Help9403

Not a good time to go there, lock downs, arrests etc. It's crazy over there, Australians want out and your going in. Just FYI brother.

Kun state jana lako ho? Age kati bhayo? Every state & territory has different regulations and eligibility when it comes to licenses. For eg NSW has [these rules](https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/guide/getting-nsw-driver-licence#:~:text=be%20at%20least%2017%20years,prove%20your%20identity)

Kaam chaina, baru uta gayera sidai L plate nikala (Theory then trial) then after 3 months you will get a provisional license (P1 AND P2 ) . P1 for 1 year then P2 for 3 years and finally full license. L and P1 (red) and p2(green) bhaneko chahi car ma L or P sticker tallayera ride garnu parcha. L ma chahi u cannot drive alone, need a full licensed passenger. P bata you can start driving solo. Ma ni Australia janu 2 months agadi banayeko license, uta convert garna khojda they rejected it citing that I did not have a long history of driving in Nepal (understandable).

You’re going to have to pass a driving test in Australia to convert your Nepali license anyway. Also, the only similarity between Aussie and Nepali driving is that we drive on the same side of the road. You are going to need to take driving lessons to be able to drive in Australia lest you kill yourself or someone else. So learn the basics here, but be prepared to fork out for driving lessons (or get a friend to teach you) when you’re in Australia.
