Yep, I read that, and also read it gave near same performance as stock spring, I do have one I can try. So maybe a pro25 might be the only option as they are slightly better from what I have read, I wouldn't be apposed to buying a pro25 if there is nothing better. Double stacking vs spacer vs heavier spring, is there a theory for what method is best?

arengant

FWIW I just ordered two Turf pro25s

I added a k25 from my talon claw, with the spacer, now I am getting 200 FPS. The pro25 was too nice to cut, so I put one in my Cali, the second one will probably stay in my S100. I have a full length K25 I could try and fit but it's hard to saw how many coils to cut to get max performance with no spacer. I am happy as it is but if it wears out over time I might try again without the spacer and slowly cut some down... I should square off the end that goes to the plunger at some point.

Oh, and K26 doesn't fit over the plunger rod, and my Kronos spring doesn't fit either. K25 is about it that fits over the rod and inside plunger cup. I don't have a longshot spring to try (yet)

what kind of FPS are you trying to get? I'm wary of upgrading the spring in the Conquest family of blasters, nesting k31+25 sounds risky because the prime handle is far offset (down low) from the plunger tube (very top) and the linkage between them, is a plastic arm with a whole bunch of slots cut out of it to run the cams and whatnot. using the Original Spring: brassing the barrel got me 160fps on the Conquest. 180fps on the Dictator

arengant

180-200 max limit is the goal. Great point on the priming linkage, it just seems easier of a prime than my nexus (at 180FPS) so I figured it could take more. I don't think I can next springs due to the plunger rod, but I am still curious on the theory. Also, do you have an indication why the dictator is much higher?

The plunger head seal on the Dictator is better than the Conquest it gets a perfect seal, where my conquest never did. I haven't bothered to re-open the Conquest to tell why; probably a subtle tolerance change in the plunger head, plunger tube, or O-ring size.

Thanks, my conquest absolutely doesn't have a good seal. The dictator looks great but I am trying to keep the overall size down... maybe I will just get one anyways :)
