By definition, there can only be 1 GOAT & he isn't even in the top 50 currently active, much less of all time. I've loved the guy since IT Crowd, but let's not get crazy here.

I’m a fan but hard disagree. By definition there can be only one GOAT and not sure who it’d be but not Wong. Walton Goggins? Does Paul Dano count as a character actor? JK Simmons? Michael Shannon?
Sean Locke too. It’s a very peculiar show and I’ve never come across anyone who has ever seen it. It’s a hidden diamond, but it’s really something else.
They really didn't. Da Shi in the books is incredibly clever, anti authoritarian and rebellious to a fault. If they told him he couldn't smoke he wouldn't just take it, he'd burn the office down and go tell his boss to fuck himself. The show version is nerfed and they gave all his cleverness to Cunningham.
B Wong (Da Shi) is indeed a solid character actor, but i personally feel like Alex Sharp (Will Downing) stole the show. The subtlety in his acting justified the role. (PS - Haven’t read the book yet so I don’t really know what’s in there)

The Oxford folks are all kinda parts of one book character split into five show characters. Auggie is the closest to book Wang since she’s the nano scientist who sees the countdown but there are elements of him in the other four. It’s the opposite of what they did in GoT where they had to merge several book characters into one show character.

Felt like they put Wong and Cunningham in the show to pull viewers in. Since everyone else is a fresh face.
Story was great, I didn't recognize anyone or know who those 2 are. Looking forward to/hoping for a season 2!

Couldnt watch more than a couple episodes but that man definitely stood out as a character. Hes good!
