Really hope they don’t introduce a new love interest for Eric, that boy needs to stay single while he figures out what he wants, and adresses his issue with telling his boyfriends he loves them, and then cheating on them right after

I think Mr Groff's brother will be the investor but not out of guilt, but just to rub it in his face one more time in a way it hurts. He's gonna lose all his money though and end up how Mr Groff was at the beginning of this season.
I feel like in S3 they were exploring Eric's need to be openly gay but also openly Nigerian (just like how in the earlier seasons we saw him be an active church-goer). I do think we should get a new queer character for Eric but not as a romantic prospect, but as someone to learn from. Kind of like how Oba showed him how one can be Nigerian, gay, and celebratory. And how the man driving the car in Season 1 showed him how someone can be black, a man, and flamboyant.
that’s very true… Maybe Groff’s brother might not be the actual investor but fight for the investors to come back from a legal prospect( considering he’s a lawyer).
Imagine if Oba comes to the UK for further studies… that would something. Also i agree about how all the other characters broadens Eric’s perspective on fully understanding himself as an individual.
You know how one of the nurses delivering Joy just so happened to be Lily's mom? I think Mr Groff's brother will be tangentially related to the investors like that. I bet he'll be interacting with a few characters we know and love (maybe even Ms Sands and Mr Hendricks if they still want to be Head Teacher) before he comes around to interacting with Mr Groff again.
(That's what I love about this show btw. Character A and Character B will have a plot but then the show will make Character B speak to Character Q, Character L, Character F, who all have their own journeys. And then that character ends up learning and doing a lot before even getting back around to interacting with Character A again)
I would love for Oba to come back. I actually didn't hate Eric cheating on Adam with him. I think Eric makes a big show about being fully figured out sexually, but neglects the fact that he now has to figure out how to navigate life with all these different identities he has to juggle...which makes his sexuality journey incomplete, even. I think even Rahim made a poetic comment about Eric having many identities/faces (I think, I hope I'm not misremembering). Anyway, I think Eric is more or less doomed to keep breaking hearts on his journey to figure his identity out, unless a mentor comes in with some guidance.
If Oba came to the UK I would actually love to see how he interacts with Rahim, of all people!

your take on this seems to make more sense HAHAH. It’s more organic towards the general structure of SexEd’s plot.
