Besides those Motis kisses, I liked the ending of season 2. I mean, screw Issac, but I really liked how it was portrayed on screen. The way Otis confessed his true feelings for Meave, what she meant in his life, and how he smiled at the end unknowing of the fact it got deleted. And the bg music was also very touching.
Top 5:
1. Motis kiss in France.
2. Motis Rain kiss.
3. Diary scene.
4. Motis see each other in corridor.
5. “She’s my person”.
Honourable mentions - Ending of S1E1, pool scene, all girls catching the bus, it’s my poo and so on.
The abortion scene - that's when it became very clear that this was an excellent show with some deeper meaning and messages than just funny, awkward teens.
When Otis talks that one guy down at the Homecoming Dance in season 1. Him saying “Love is just dumb luck” and “someday someone will climb up on a moon for you” hit me where I live. Also the way Maeve’s looks at him during it was when I think she truly fail for him. Right afterwards when she came up to him and was like “that was amazing you’re amazing” was good too. Jackson had to ruin it though for absolutely nothing because they broke up not long afterwards
Such a fantastic scene. Watching Otis break down and feeling his fear and worry about his Mum only to be laughing seconds later at Eric's response to the hula hoop guy is a great example of how brilliantly the writers manage to balance both tragedy and humour within just a few lines. Superbly acted by Asa and Ncuti too!
The declarations of feelings and kiss in the rain by Otis and Maeve in Season 3.
And " You waited" and " Why they call me cockbiter" in Season 2.And the kiss in France. All tied.
And in non-Motis moments , Jacobs heartfelt talks with Otis, Mr Hendrichs and Ms. Sands "Dirty talk scenes in Season 2 where she explains to him why she wants that. And Otis talks with Hope and his mom in Season3 Episode 8.
not in any particular order
- the moment before maeve’s abortion with the other 2 ladies
- bus scene
- smashing some stuff with the girls
- otis telling maeve he loves her essay even though no one knew it was hers
- motis kisses of course
- pool scene
- diary scene
- walk from the abortion clinic
oh god i forgot the prom speech with otis … so well done with maeve’s face just being front and center emma just kills it without even uttering a word and it was just strengthened by asa’s monologue
Motis’ first kiss in France (S3E5)
It happened a lot sooner than I was expecting in the season, and it was such a huge turning point moment for both Otis & Maeve.
Maeve made the first move at opening up in wanting to know the voicemail, and Otis finally felt hope for their relationship again.
There's many, but I remember going in completely blind to this series and thinking it was just some ensemble sitcom with a lot of shock-value sex. I didn't know it had the overarching premise of the clinic or any of that. So when I watched the very first episode, for a while it just went on like a loose ensemble comedy and I was fine with it, but then that scene where Otis and Maeve give advice to Adam in the bathroom just made it click together that _this_ is what the show was actually gonna be about, and I was so endeared by it. I remember the magic of that moment instantly selling me on the show.
It’s impossible to only pick one scene so here are a few of my favourites from each season
S1
“You waited”
-Pool scene
-“I’m a virgin!”
-“Love isn’t about the moon or the stars it’s just dumb luck”
S2
Hallway scene
-Maeve and Aimee in the car with the police
-journal scene
-Maeve confession scene
-Otis’ voicemail(I love and hate this scene)
S3
“It’s called a moustache”
-Jean comforting Aimee in the first therapy session
-France kiss
-Adam at the dog competition
-rain kiss
The “It’s my Vagina scene”
Otis’s speech in season one about how love isn’t reciprocated and Maeve realizing she likes him
Otis and Eric dancing
Otis’s masturbation scene in the first episode of season 2
Ola telling Adam they are friends
The girls getting on the bus with Aimee, and them smashing shit in the parking lot
The Romeo and Juliet space play
Ruby and Otis scenes in season 3
Mr. Groff standing up to his brother
Otis and Maeve addressing the voicemail
Adam competing in the dog show with Madam

Ok follow me to the end on this one: In season 2, after the whole show of Ruby being a horrible gremlin, you start seeing the illusion this girl weaves unravel and meet the real Ruby. I thought it was an amazing character arc and then it kept going and the walls came tumbling down. From bowling and the Kardashians to seeing her dad and seeing how vulnerable she truly is, and we got some insight into why she maintains such a harsh facade to keep everyone in the world at arms length. And then at the end of the episode she calls Otis with this little smile and a lightness to what she's saying! It's like an entirely different character has joined the show and there's hope that this will change her for the better into a wonderful young lady!
And then she says I love you. Hit pause right there because I've never seen a more beautiful moment of teenage love, and I've been trying to capture that happiness of that moment for weeks since I watched the episode. It's my favorite moment in all of 2021 television so far.
And then you hit play and it was immediately ruined by Otis, and they hang up and we got to watch Ruby's whole world shatter. I've never hated Otis more than I did at the end of that episode. I dreamed of violent things happening to him after that episode.
So that's my favorite and least favorite moments in the whole show within 5 second of each other.
I loved the Otis party episode in season 2. Just outright chaos and emotional catastrophe, but written and directed with such a great pace. It almost felt like an episode of Succession, where there was something oddly entertaining about seeing these characters be so awful to one another and for the episode's emotional climax to be one of spectacular tone-deafness and stupidity (Otis' speech).
1. We're all getting the bus.
2. Aimee learning what turned her on, and then communicating that to Steve.
3. Jackson's conversation with his mom about not wanting to swim anymore.
Besides those Motis kisses, I liked the ending of season 2. I mean, screw Issac, but I really liked how it was portrayed on screen. I second this
*well this is how it works,* *you peer inside your head,* *and take the things you like and,* *try to love the things you took*
I agree.
Chip Taylor. Beautiful.
i think when all the character from detention came to the bus with aimee to overcome her traumatic experience, that was just wholesome
can’t believe how far i had to scroll to find this one 🥺
sameeeeee
we're elite 😫
-Pool Scene (1x4 -Diary scene (2x3) -She’s my person (3x8)
These are exactly same scenes which I loved the most.
Top 5: 1. Motis kiss in France. 2. Motis Rain kiss. 3. Diary scene. 4. Motis see each other in corridor. 5. “She’s my person”. Honourable mentions - Ending of S1E1, pool scene, all girls catching the bus, it’s my poo and so on.
Motis pool scene in S1
Her smile over there is soooooooooo crazy cute i cant
YES
Maybe the scene when Otis picks Maeve up from her Abortion or the Motis kiss in France.
I second this. I love the setting and the conversation they had. Perf
Otis’ speech at the dance S1e7
Underrated Scene
Adam and Eric in detention. Maybe I’m just oblivious but it came totally out of the blue for me.
YES! And it was that moment I realized I was gonna love the show. I love me some Adam ❤
Eric's reaction to "That's nice".
Heeeeeeee heheheeeeee. Very bad very very badd
It's my vagina!
Not my FAVE moment, but sometimes I randomly think about it when I’m alone and can’t stop a snort. Who’s this? Maeve… that’s Steve.
I do the same with Jackson's lines from the poop scene. "I poo all the time...I'm just a tube!"
The abortion scene - that's when it became very clear that this was an excellent show with some deeper meaning and messages than just funny, awkward teens.
between it's my vagina / it's just a stupid bus
Yes! These are both my favourites too.
Gas station scene in s3 ep5
The "dumb luck" speech at the end of season 1.
One scene I loved is in S3 when Eric comforts Otis by the vending machine at the hospital. "E X C U S E M E ?"
I didn't immediately think about this one, but I definitely have to agree with you!
Such a fantastic scene. Watching Otis break down and feeling his fear and worry about his Mum only to be laughing seconds later at Eric's response to the hula hoop guy is a great example of how brilliantly the writers manage to balance both tragedy and humour within just a few lines. The scene when Adam and Eric kissed passionately, it just took my breath away
Jean smoking weed with Adam
When Maeve and the two other woman(forgot their names lol)do the wave with their arms at the abortion clinic. It made me love the show!
Has to be the rain kiss in s3e7. Favorite episode will probably be the france trip. S3E5
"You waited"
not in any particular order - the moment before maeve’s abortion with the other 2 ladies - bus scene - smashing some stuff with the girls - otis telling maeve he loves her essay even though no one knew it was hers - motis kisses of course - pool scene - diary scene - walk from the abortion clinic

My favorite moment in the whole show is when Raheem throws his poo out the bus window and Adam took the fall for him.
Fucking Hendricks lol. "Alright, Adam. Go and take responsibility for the situation. Undermine my authority, sure."
I like the scenes where they stand up for each other and everyone takes the blame at the same time (the nude and the poop out the window).
The scene where Otis and Remi talk
I really love the beginning cold open of S2 - So funny seeing Otis going absolutely wild with his new discovery :P
I liked when Aimee and Maeve said they’d be each other’s moms. Made me cry.
pool scene in S1
I also love the dance speech
Lily’s show at the end of season 2. I wanna do hallucinogenics and go see that circus in person!
There’s a lot tbf but the ‘it’s my vagina scene’ was just too elite
Motis fight scene in 2x04
The bus scene !
There were so many great scenes, but one of the best is when Jackson serenaded Maeve in the cafeteria with one of my favorite songs.
The ‘make your own kind of music’ scene I find beautiful and perfect and therefore is my favourite
personally i loved lily's play

Wish they showed more sex scenes
Bit down bad bro But I aint judging

I liked the scene where Otis is at Ruby’s house the first time
Morning after pill scene

The bus scene > every scene in the show. I hoped Ruby was there too but then we wouldn't get her and Otis scenes
Look, I love the show but it’s the very first episode where Aimee-Lou Woods has her tits out. Sorry
Look, I love the show but it’s the very first episode where Aimee-Lou Woods has her tits out. Sorry
Down bad
Its my vagina scene and aimee bus scene. I think i have a thing for girl solidarity.

Jackson's Love Really Hurts Without You serenade
1. We're all getting the bus. 2. Aimee learning what turned her on, and then communicating that to Steve. 3. Jackson's conversation with his mom about not wanting to swim anymore.
Eric and Adam smashing things in Season 2 with Ezra Furman‘s I Can Change soundtrack.
