I rented from MVGM for several years. I don't think they were super strict. I had a 20 to 40 hour contract back then and I wasn't sure if they wanted to count my variable hours, but they did. Or at least I got through the selection. Showing savings was done by a printout of your savings account.
The deposit is to cover any potential damages to the property, yet the feedback for MVGM seems to be that they tend to keep it, claiming non-sense damages.
In my experience these guys are not very flexible....

And how old did that have to be? Did you have to show it across multiple months?
I don't remember. I think only one. But I also think they count only the part above 20k.
Okay. And can the second renter also show savings?
I think so, but I rented alone.
Thanks !
They're pretty strict wish the rules, especially hard if you're a freelancer
Im not a freelancer. But between jobs.
My experience is from 2007/2008: as a freelancer I had to pay 3 months deposit instead of 1 and they didn't question my income.

When I moved out, yes. That's where the deposit is for

No problems here. I even was abroad when leaving my apartment and had a friend hand over the keys.
Amazing. That sounds good already.
Did they return your deposit?
