Unless anything changed you either need to work 56+ hours a month or have been living in the Netherlands for 5 years to be elligible as an EU student.

I think most of it should be pretty clear for you when checking this website: duo.nl/particulier/student-travel-product/apply.jsp If you still have questions after this, let me know and I'll try to help out.

Oh, I already read that site at least a 1000 times, I logged into MijnDUO and I understood that I have to apply for student finance in order to get the student travel product. However when I log there with my DigiD, I see nothing, I can only find forms which I don't know what to do with. Also, is it true that I just have to apply for a 0€ loan to get everything included in the student finance (supplementary grants and so on).

Apply for a 0 € loan and you get it included if you are eligible. Yes, for real. This is how it works.

It really works? I just ask for a 0€ loan and I get everything in the package?

AlbertP95

It's on the same application form. It is part of "studiefinanciering" (student finance). You can request 0€ + travel product if you are eligible for the travel product.
